I have found several websites with the recipe... in what I think is Dutch (or possibly Flemish) anyway here is the link:
http://www.devlamindepan.nl/index.html?rund/rv0050.htm

Basically (using my inept skill as a traslator):
It seems to be (for one serving)
- One piece of beefstake of the hare?
- 25g butter
- pepper
- salt
- 100g gravy
You rub the meat with the salt and pepper and then cook it in the melted butter and then do something with the gravy when it is golden brown. (I can't translate the details very well)

Anyway I hope this helps.

A warning: I typically double the spice amounts, except salt, in any recipe I use. The following are doubled spice amounts.

Hollandsche Biefstuk

1.5 lb boneless sirloin, 1 in. thick.
2 T red wine vinegar
1/2 t salt
1/2 t pepper(coarse ground, if available)
1 T butter
2 t flour
1/2 cup beer
1 T brown sugar
1/8 t salt
1/4 t pepper
1/4 t rosemary, crushed
sliced green onions w/ tops

Slice fat on beef diagonally at 1 in intervals. Marinate beef in shallow
dish w/vinegar, 1/2 t salt and 1/2 t pepper for an hour(refrigerated),
turning regularly.

When done, heat butter in skillet unitl foam subsides, braise beef to
desired doneness. Remove beef. Stir flour into butter, add beer, and
remaining ingredients, except onions. Boil, then cook 1 min longer.

Pour sauce over beef and sprinkle w/ green onions.

Enjoy!

Cause I'm Dutch I ought to know :)

And no (as read above), it isn't a beefsteak of a hare, but the best piece of steak you can get.

Here's how the Dutch (and me) bake our steak (not in the oven but in a non-stick pan)

Enjoy and greetz from the Netherlands
