the only difference is the your treadmill had got a monitor , but the benefit is the same

I personally prefer running/walking out doors because of the fresh air and the Vit. D you get from the sun. It also seems to have a positive stress-relief factor. But I also live in the south, so outdoor activity is easy and we don't have snow. Some prefer to do treadmill in front of the TV. It's just a matter of choice. Godloveya.

It's always better to breath fresh air but it depends where you are located-Some places near the highway and city for example would have higher pollution indexes but an enclosed apt or home without a healthy exchange of air wouldn't be good either. Check out both and see which is best for you-Happy Running...

I think the benifits are the same fitness wise but the fresh air helps to clear your thoughts so your fitness and mental/emotional health increase which is a plus plus in my oppinion i would also swim atleast once a week to help the rest of your body

Yes, outside you have 'fresh' air, you are running on a stationary surface, you could even get some sunshine or rain depending.

not unless your running on a treadmill in a nuclear power plant. but sometimes the distractions of outside can keep me running.. its ur preference, thats all.

It really dosnt matter. Tredmill you can increase speed to check how fit you are and outside its just fresh
