I read somewhere that it is possible to lose 7 pounds in week if you excercise regularly but you can only eat fruits, veg and drink water and fruit juices. I want to get more details since there was not much info.

it sounds like a bit of a fad to me - you will indeed lose the weight, but it will all be fluid - and you will put it all back on just as quckly when you start again. it is never a good idea to cut major food groups ot of your diet. i would suggest trying the following:

dont mix proteins and carbs in your daily diet. for instance, have chicken and veg but dont have potatoes with it. or, have jacket potato and cheese and beans, and maybe veggie quorn mince - but dont have real meat with it. or, have spag bol.......either have lots of pasta and only a small amount of the meaty sauce, or have a little pasta and a large amount of the meaty sauce.

cut down on bread - eat only wholemeal if you can, and never more than 2 slices a day.

drink lots of water. stay away from fruit juices and full fat carboated drinks - drink diet coke etc.

dont drink alcohol, especially beer.

eat loads of raw fruit - not dried/stewed or in the form of a juice.

cut right down on sweets and high fat foods. dont make yourself not have anything, or you will feel hard done by and want to binge eat.

you could potentially lose a half a stone in a week doing this, and you will not be wrecking your body whilst you are doing it either. i have lost 21.5lbs so far doing this. there is no reason why you could not lose a stone before xmas if you are sensible with your food choices.

if you find you cannot do something like this alone, and need the extra support from others then i would suggest weight watchers or slimming world. good luck!

There are three main ways to lose weight quickly.

1) Use only water as liquid and eliminate all other liquid drinks from your diet. You must drink as much water as possible every day. You must drink about half of your weight. If you have weight of 200 pounds then you must drink about 100 oz of water.

2) The interval between the eating is very important. If you eat once, then you must eat next after 4 hours. You must take breakfast regularly. In the night eat your food three hours before going to bed.

3) Walking is very good. You must walk as much as you can. Walk everywhere you can. Use of elevators and escalators must be reduced and instead of these you must climb stairs more often.

These are some of the fastest ways to lose weight. By just following the simple steps, you can lose your weight very quickly. You must consult your doctor if want to change your diet or exercise routine.

There is a diet and it's called the idiots guide to loosing weight, if you stick to it for 11 days you can loose up to 9 pounds, the diet tells you what to eat, you have to eat what it says in the 11 days, you also get to pick from 30 types of food, the only thing you have to remember is that you have to leave 2 hours in between each meal

Frank, you are aiming for too much. That means you will get disillusioned and give up. At best the average person can realistically lose 2 lbs a week from regular exercise. The fruit and veg is fine - but don't cut out the protein you need; just eat a good diet, bur smaller portions.

i honestly don't think that there is a healthy way of losing 7lb in one week...... and i don't think anyone in their right mind would advise u to attempt it !!! i think the method u are talking about would mean following a very strict detox plan, and i'm sure there will be information on detox plans on the internet. it involves u only drinking water and eating raw fruit and vegtables.... but it can make u feel really ill, and most of the weight u will lose will only be water, and as soon as u start eating normally, u will put most of the weight back on. i think the most u could expect to lose on a sensible diet whilst getting exercise is about 3 pounds a week...... i still think that trying to lose half a stone in one week is a bad idea...... but it's your body... just be careful
