Here I am again, Back to my old tricks, will I ever learn. anyway here goes
Christians say that the Big Bang Theory is false because of the creation of something from nothing. Yet isn’t this what God is about? Isn’t he something from nothing? If we are to believe that he created everything and that something is from something, then God is from something. How could he be formed from himself? And what about the miracle atoms that God is made from, what created them?
Have fun and please don't be offended,T hanks again to everyone who takes the time to answer me seriously

Yeah, my favorite is the ID theory that some things are too complex to not have a designer. Yet the designer would be the most complex being to ever exist. Christian beliefs contradict themselves.

Unfortunately, saying that God is something from nothing is by definition invalid. Something that has always been simply pre-dates the concept of time as we know it, and when you go beyond that little line, there is absolutely NO WAY to possibly imagine how existence works.

Even right now, a quantum physist can tell you about things which adhere to rules and regulations which vastly deviate and defy that which we know to be the nature of our existence. We can't even apply our perception of thinking to sub-atomic particles and the nature of matter - all we can do is simplify it, make it into tiny little "balls" we call atoms so we can try to wrap our minds around how the universe really works.

Thinking an all-powerful God wouldn't be so likewise beyond our simple definition is well... poor logic. Who created God? Who created "Created"? Who or what came up with this idea to generate existence?

There has to be a begining. A begining to everything, even the idea of time so that there can be a logical way to sequence events in chronological order - otherwise there can be no begining to begin with. It can either be an inexplicable explosion of proportions unknown, or it can be a reasonable consiousness with a set direction and plan. What makes more sense? That's up to you to decide.

well, some answers might be....

1 one or more gods, - some kind of neverending cycle of creation that has no beginning (although, giving an account of this would be very sketchy and or difficult)

2 that god was never created (and he exists)- somehow he always existed (it seems logic doesnt apply here, which is terrible- but the good thing is, is that this type of model cannot be used to support a specific god - ie, there is no way to choose christian god over hindu gods, etc. yet, this also is not any more interesting than a santa claus, etc)

3 that god was never created (and he doesnt exist)- at which point science is impelled to give an account of before the big bang

4 that nothing exists- ie that we are participating in the definition of nothingness

1). big bang doesn't describe the creation of the universe, only it's expansion. Those christians saying that are idiots.
2). i think what "God is about" has more to do with the human emotional element then origins, personally.
3). basically yes.
4). because that would lead to an infinite regression paradox, so you have to break the chain somewhere. you can stop at the universe, or go a step further to stop at the universes starting agent. occam usually enters right about now...
5).miracle atoms?

We know that the universe had a starting point. There was a point at which time, space, and matter all came into being.

There had to have been a "first cause". Something or someone who existed without being created.

Big Bang supporters would say that it was matter ( dirt).

Bible-believers say that God is the pre-exisisting creator.
.

Some people believe " In the beginning, God...." while others believe "in the beginning, dirt...."

All we can do is examine the available evidence, and reach a conclusion.

I'm a christian (catholic), I've studied engineering and I know something about the big bang theory (even if I'm not an expert on).
Probably you have to consider the "transcended" and the "immanent" as two different fields. What I mean is that no one can give a scientific prof of the existence (or the not existence) of God. Is just a personal faith. Personally I'm not offended I think that God exist from "the beginning of the time" and I'm not going to change my ideas reading your question, probably as you are not going to change yours reading my answer.
I'm sure (probably as you are sure of your opinion) that God exist and love you too.

God is great in his creation. us being created doesn't mean that every thing else has to be created to be real, u don't even know what other things else than us r out there and how did they come,u don't know who God really is and how he is discribed. God was never created, never was born, and never will die. thinking of God is way above what ur mind can think of, so keep ur self from these thoughts cause believe me u will have a hard time thinking, that's if u r really bothered with shuch thoughts, and will reget these thoughts when u know the truth, but then it will be too late. so good luck with ur surching.

Yeah, putting very human parameters on Divinity just won't work. This argument relies on the concept that we know all. We find things everyday that we never imagined. If you toss the Time continuum out the window then God (and us) always was and always will be.

Christians just can't seem to fathom anything beyond their noses. They definitely can't seem to understand the the big bang would have been caused by another universe imploding in upon itself until the pressure and force got so great that it exploded
