I am 21 vietnamese, my girlfriend who is Greek, we have been secretly dating together for 5years. We are deeply in love but there is a problem lies. My parent does not accepted her as a family member and same as her family, sometimes we have to sneak out and meet each other. I couldn't take her out or dining because I could run into her and mine family members. I'm thinking off moving to other cities and live with my girlfriend. But I cannot run a way from my family. I just don't know what to do......

Let's make a leap and assume you live in the US. That being the case, it's a "free" country. So if you're sure about this, you should do it. Your families will either get over it and accept you both, or not. In the meantime, it's not selfish to want to live your own life and try to be happy. Apparently they are, because they want to keep the leashes on you. Bottom line, if it's real, you two will make up for what your families may lack.

Many ppl never find true love (how trite), go for it!

Some families or cultural groups don't want you to date outside of the group becausethey want to preserve the group as it is. You may neverget approval from your parents or hers, so the 2 of you need to decide if you;
a) keep dating in secret forever or until one of you gets tired of it,
b) call it off now and abide by family wishes, or
c) take a stand and pursue your relationship openly

Only you can decide what is best for you.

If your love is true...your families will learn to deal with it!
If they can't get over it and accept the fact that you are in love...then move away for a while, let things cool off and later, hopfully everyone will open up and discover that you now BOTH lead your own lives!

Good Luck :)

First question - do you work? can you support family?
If so just move together with your girlfriend and forget what her and your family say. When they see that you are happy together they will change their mind.
My cousin married person of different nationality, because of problems in both families they ran away, her father was really mad, he told her that he forgot about her and would never accept her in his house and family. .... But time has passed and now they are in great relations with both families.
If you break up with her because of your family you will never forgive yourself and them for that.

You need to discover the reasons why they are unwilling to accept her. Is it due to her behavior or personality? Are they biased towards someone of the same race/heritage as they are? Did you insult them by dating her without them knowing? If you are serious about each other, and she is a responsible gal, then they should reconsider their stance. She should get a chance to "prove herself".
