well i love this girl with all my heart. we dated for about a month abd then she broke up with me because she wasnt ready for a relationship. so i waited. now we have been not togethe rbut not apart for about 2 1/2 months and the hole time i have been trying to get her 2 take me back. these are the things she says are holding her back: im moving 3 hrs away but have a truck and could come up whenever i need to, she has been hurt in the past by other guys and thinks i will do the same, and she's afraid it wont work long distance. now first of all...i have never cheated on anyone in my life-especially her. but since other guys have...she thinks i will to. its not fair but she sticks to it. she doesnt understand that i wouldnt let her down ever.. and also i have trasportation 2 come up al the time. but my main question is this- im am getting tired trying 2 make her happy and getting nothing in return. yet i still love her. do i teach her a lesson by stop trying, or do i keep working at it?

I know this is not what you want to hear but you got to move on man. She is either playing childish games or just making excuses not to be with you. Either way you have a great chance to make a new start in your new home. Bet you find someone who will totally return your feelings. Don`t look back !!!

Teaching her a lesson is not the answer, people who love one another do not set out to harm, Ever!

Be really honest with her about how you feel about her and ask her to do the same for you. Be prepared though, she is giving you the standard answers for someone who has been hurt but she may be trying to spare your feelings if she doesn't love you or see a future with you.

Honesty will allow you both to move on if its not right or experience life's most beautiful opportunities and memories if she does love you and needs to take a chance on trust.

Good luck!

You could go at it from either way...

You could keep trying like a stubborn j.a.c.k.a.s.s. and she might see your determination and trust in you, and from there...who knows?

Or..you could try this...(this got chosen for a best answer once for the question "I love my bf sooo much but I dont think he feels the same...?")

Tell her that you love her frequently over a short period of time (3-5 days)
Then, go for a while (1-2 weeks) without saying it at all...

See how she reacts..

Before you actually stop, you have to tell her how you feel and see what she sais.
Her attitude is normal for someone who has been cheated, unfortunately these kind of things leave scars.

try harder if she really is trying to forget somebody do as she please but also try to make her understand what is your real purpose in pursuing what you feel about her, if she still says that she can't return what your hoping her to give then move on & try to find somebody who will love you as you would.
