My guess is that every other student it also anxious about having to do the presentation. You're not alone. Also, you HAVE to do it, so you might as well make the best of it: come out with the guns blazing.

The number one fear statistically is Public Speaking. Seriously, I'm going to give you some advice that can REALLY help you, but you got to do exactly what I say! First off, that butterfly/rollercoaster about to vomit feeling will not go away unless you make it. Let that fear hit you while you are bout to give the presentation, but as soon as that teacher calls your name to give your presentation SWALLOW THAT FEAR! Gulp it up like you've been in a desert stranded without water! Swallow that fear & the main thing to do is ACT LIKE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING! Don't let the shaky voice get to you, don't let the shaky hands start, don't think about what everyone else is thinking of you. Do not look around if anyone is listening to you, JUST BREATHE, look at a focal point in either the back of the room or the teacher & SMILE! Smile & act like HEY I KNOW THIS STUFF. Repeat to yourself "It's not that big of a deal" The more you fake being comfortable, the more it will appear you are in control, then you will eventually believe you are in control! The key to a good presentation is CONFIDENCE & INFORMATION! Trust me, I've been speaking to crowds since I was in high school! You will be fine. I have faith in you even though I don't know you because I know people overcome this fear all the time! Just trust in yourself, your homework, and you will be fine! Good luck!

I know exactly how you feel! I am terrible with oral presentations and speeches and stuff like that. Something I have found really helps (No its not just something the counsellors tell you) is to take a few really deep breaths, holding it then releasing. It so helps you to be more relaxed.
Also, maybe try practicing in front of your friends over the weekend. It helps heaps to have done it with people you trust before hand!

Seriously...most of the people listening to you will not really be listening at all--they'll be having their own anxiety attacks about their own presentations. Everybody feels the same way you do, and they all know it, so don't act (when you're giving your presentation) like this is your personal special shame or anything. Even if you totally suck, if you try to connect with the audience instead of hanging your head and whispering, you'll get emotional support from SOMEBODY, cause everybody knows they feel the exact same way.
That aside, there's nothing like practice, practice, practice.

I truly understand your torment. What I usually do is look at a particular person in the classroom that I am familiar with. When you have someone to connect with you tend to forget about everyone else. Also, look around every other time you look at this particular person so you don't get points marked off.

Maybe you can try to memorise your scipts and do it in front of the mirror first? If you have video cams, it is even better. Record it and play it to see where you can improve. Practice practice practice. The more practice you have, the more confidence you will get and wont feel that bad.

Just be prepared before your presentation, always think positive that you can do it. Face your fear and the most important thing is to pray.
