I have attending many meetings of an organization in which one of the key statements they make is "It is reasonable" them they explain what they say the Bible says. It does not matter that they actually rewrote the Bible to make it say what they wanted it to...because it was reasonable to do so.

I have often found that was sounds reasonable to me, is just the opposite of what GOD wants. We think we should hate our enemy and get even with them. GOD says love them and do good to them that abuse us. We think we have "rights" to anything and everything. GOD says yield our rights to others. We think we need to hang on to everything, GOD says not to...that we need to lay up treasures in heaven.

I have seen that each of these things work when we do it GOD's way.

One example by knowing that my LORD is in control when I got a phone call in the middle of the night and heard someone cussing me out, I was able to listen and then talk to the person to find out why they were so angry. I then talked about a solution and within the hour from getting the call, his anger was totally gone because he met the Prince of Peace.

THAT IS WHAT WE HAVE THE BIBLE FOR: It tells us that our life is short anf full of trouble, that we are souls born in sin [ by no fault of our own ], sin is imperfection and from infant to old age anything can happen to us at any time.

We are promised to be saved by ressurrection of the soul to life and everything be back as new and perfect as it was before Eden. 1Cor.15:22-28; 51-53 Some are resurrected to the new heaven [ there is room for them because the Jude 9 Michael of Dan.12:1-13 and holy angels cast satan and ungodly angels of Gen.3:15 out of heaven to footstool earth at the end of the #7 Empire [ Jesus was in # 6 Rome ];
John 6:39,40,44; 14:3 Jesus went to prepare a place for the heavenly that where he is there they may be also, Rev.20:1-6 they will be with him at his second coming to resurrect 12, 13 for the new earth.
So if any are LOST after all is made new at the final cleansing of eaarth, they have only self to blame.

When you trust the Bible, you eventually read it. While reading it you will find that God has no intention of letting this world going to its worst eternally, instead you find the hope that one day God will be the one who rules the world, where there will be peace. (Rev. 21:3.4)

By having in head this promise, you tell yourself that there's only a little time remaining that, we'll be living in a world like this. This help you personally and you feel like sharing this to others,

...I am reminded by the Scriptures that God is in charge, and of all the wonderful things He has promised believers. I find comfort in favorite verses - i.e., when I am discouraged or things don't go my way, I am reminded that God has something better for me -
...Deuteronomy 8:16 "In the wilderness He fed you manna which your fathers did not know, that He might humble you and that He might test you, to do good for you in the end."
...I was reading the Amplified Version and in Ephesians 2:4, it spoke of God's "intense" love for us - that's something - I never thought of God's love for me as intense; observe:
...Eph 2:4 (Amplified) But God--so rich is He in His mercy! Because of and in order to satisfy the great and wonderful and intense love with which He loved us,
...His great and wonderful promises make it easier when others suffer - I know His loving hand is in it and on it.
...The worst that can happen is death, but believers go straight to be with Jesus - fear of death is gone.

When you read the bible you must realize that it is given to mankind from God to give us the direction we need to live life and live in hopes of eternal bliss with God. It's our faith that increases in Him who gives promises like "I will never put more on you that you can not bear" and will supply all your needs because loves us. Know that all suffering is not to death and after every storm there is sunshine.

Knowing the hope of the reward to come to those who patiently endure, and knowing that God desires and is able to save anyone and everyone who wants it. Like Moses looked to the reward (Hebrews 11:24-26).

There is a Scripture which comes to mind: "There is nothing new under the sun".......

Therefore, all of life's idiocyncracies are in that book......

I find myself referring to it just to see how someone else handled a similar life circumstance......
