Wow...14 and bullemic... amazing. How about you A.) stop making yourself throw up B.) Start eating healthy (less food, more fruits and veggies, no cheetos, chips, little debbies, cookies, etc.) C.) Start exercising-start by walking 30 minutes a day for a week, then increase to 45 minutes, then increase to an hour. If you are conditioned at all, start some cardiovascular training 20 minutes per day, 3-4 x per week. D.) Stop watching tv/sitting around the rest of the day and get up and move around or stretch while in front of the tv, stretching is very simple, and it burns more calories than just sitting there. E.) Drink 8-10 glasses of water a day, you'll be more full and it will naturally detoxify your body. As far as your weight, it depends on you height...if you're 5'9" and 160, you only need to lose 10 pounds if anything...if you're 5' on the other hand, you may need to lose around 30 or so. It is all calories in versus calories out and the calories out should NOT be due to vomiting. If you keep throwing up, you're going to set yourself up for a world of worse problems than being a few pounds heavy. For example chronic bullemics not only lose nutrients so their skin, hair, bones and muscles are weaker, but they also peel the enamel off their teeth due to the stomach acid. Not to mention long term effects such as anemia and osteoporosis. Bullemia is also linked to a deficient immune system, setting yourself up to get sick more often. Not to mention electrolyte and blood pH imbalances leading up to convulstions coma and death! All around it is a poor health choice, so take the weight off slowly and keep it off by making lifestyle changes.

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.

I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.

It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.

Get started today!

First of all, if you starve yourself you will not lose weight. By eating and then throwing up, you send your body into starvation mode and that causes it to defend itself by keeping fat reserves and lowering your energy. Basically, it thinks you don't have access to food so it will preserve itself.

If you want a really quick way to jumpstart weight loss, eat lots of soup. Eat soup (not broth...there has to be some veggies, etc in it) for every meal. Soup is nutritous and extremely filling. You can get the minimum number of calories needed to keep your body from starvation, but still lose a great amount of weight.

You will probably lose an average of 1-2 pounds a day. (That is how much I was losing) After about two weeks, start adding in a little "real" food, like a sandwich or salad, but also increase your exercise. You don't have to do high-impact aerobics...just get outside and walk 20 minutes everyday. You will consistantly lose weight AND remain healthy. If you starve yourself and continue to throw up after eating, then once you do start going back to real food, you will immediately regain all your weight, and probably gain extra.

Take it slow and steady and I bet by next spring you will have a hot bod!! =-) Good luck!

Honey, please stop and listen! I have been right where you are, same age, same weight. I know that it seems logical to throw up your food, but it can permanatly damage your metabolism!!! There's only one way to lose weight and keep it off and I know it's dissapointing that it's not a quick fix, but for the long run you won't damage your metabolism.
