He was in the navy and I think he did something over at Bermuda and Virginia

captain john Newport wounded Jan28 1864 while on a scouting expedition near jonesville Virginia. He died the following day at 12.30pm hope it helps.added this would have been civil war 1861-1864 you sure navy is right?
