Yes, but "a little" is the operative term. At least the war against Iran seems to have been derailed which is a relief. Not that I care about Iranians mind you, but I know enough about world politics to realise how insanely dangerous that gambit would have been....

Well, I think the fact that we're going to be looking toward a resolution of the Iraq issue rather than having a policy of simply staying there will help us stay safer.
Having more troops & funding available for a rapid deployment to another part of the world is better for our security. Having our troops & money bogged down in Iraq doesn't seem to be helping anyone we know.
I think it will definitely help the morale of the military. They *did* their job, someone *else* didn't do their damn homework before sending them there.
