There is some big building there on the SE corner of Corcoran St NW and 16th St NW, according to Google Satellite Maps but it doesn't show up on Zabba Search as a house and the address 1615 doesn't show up in any Google search. Here's a bird's eye pic where you can see it's clearly a church:

The Embassy Hotel, at 1627 16th St NW, is across Corcoran St street on the NE and appears part of 1625 16th St NW which is residential. 1609 16th St NW is a home.

Here's a double map, with bird's eye view on the other side. If you rotate the angle, you can look right up the front doors of all the buildings. You see 1627 Embassy Hotel, next to it 1625 residential apartments, across the street a church, and next to it 1609 a residential house.
