Suggestions: try to break the vacuum seal
1. run warm water on the lid
2. use a special piece of thin circular rubber used for opening jars, you can get it at the grocery store
3. use a butter knife or thin screw driver to loosen the edge of the lid
4. use an ice pick to put a hole in the top of the lid. if possible

run hot water on the top for a while and then try to open it. Don't leave it under the tap for too long coz that will allow the glass to also expand and the top will tighten again. If that fails attack the top with a pair of pliers or one of those bottle and jar openers for srew on lids. Of course if all fails and you are going to finish everthing, make a hole in the lid and pray for patience as you pour the contens out.
Good luck

Use a silicon oven pad or dish rubber glove. The nonslick surface will help you get a better grip to twist that stubborn cap. Also try letting it sit for a few minutes and let the gases settle down. And try it again.

What always works for me is to take a fairly sturdy knife, and hit the bottlecap firmly with the blunt edge. It will dent the cap, and the dent will break the vacuum and let you take the cap off right away. Give it a try, has never failed for me!

turn it upside down and stick in a pot of boiling water. the pocket of air created by turning it upside down will help to loosen the seal near the lip.....or you can slip a butter knife under the lip of the lid and lift up until you hear the little farting noise

Put it in hot water and leave it there to warm it up.If the lid is metal,it will expand. If it is plastic,it will soften. If all else fails use multigrips.

I would just stab a hole in the lid personally and drink through that.

pour boiling water over the lid, this will expand the metal and liquify and glue and you should be able to pop it right off.

Put it under hot water. That will make it expand and make it a bit easier to open.
