your body is fighting the cold that's why your nose is running if you take anything to stop it the cold will stay with you and it will get worst. old remendy is chicken soup, hot tea. ojuice, jello basically lots of water, that will flush it out faster. colds take about 7 to 10 days to clear

Are you sure its a cold and not just allergies? I had the same problem for the longest time and i finally went to the doctor and they said i just had untreated allergies. I'm supposed to be taking prescribed medications but alas i'm poor and w/out insurance benefits so i have to stick to the otc remedies. I've found that Walgreens Allergy and Sinus relief is the best for me. I suggest going to a ear nose and throat doctor.
