What do you make of quotes that Bilbo disappeared after his eleventy first birthday.

After all that came from a book, just like your quotes.

Doesn't make it true though does it.

OH BY THE WAY, IT'S ISAIAH NOT ISASHIA

It could be an example of a self-fulfilling prophecy. If that prophecy was widely believed in jesus's time, anybody who aspired to be a prohpet would do the things that the prophecy foretold. There were numerous prophets around at the time, and if an old prophecy says the messiah will do this and that, the wanna be messiahs would not need to be rocket scientists to figure out what they should do if they are to be accepted. Just because a prophecy foretold an event means little if the event was within the power of people to bring about and the prophecy was well-known.

Also you would need to know how many prophecies there were and how many jesus fulfilled. After christianity came to power, there would be a lot of incentive for the leaders to destroy unfulfilled prophecies. So the fact that some prophecies end up being right means little. If you have a thousand guesses about where a messiah will be born in a small country, somebody is bound to get it right.

And all of this is assuming that these prophecies were not changed.

Some people just don't need god to take credit or the blame for things that happen in their lives. They are strong enough to not needextra support. No matter what you say, until theexistance of god is proved, they won't believe. And just because some prophet said that a saviour will come and free the Jewish people doesn't make that person Jesus. Mind you, if the whole of Islam suddenly started throwing their quran in the garbage and joining the Christians in praising Jesus, more people woiuld think its possible. How about being one of the first to do so?

Prove that Jesus was alive before you ask "nonbelievers" that I don't think anything of it. So he said he was going to come to earth, yeah, he might or might not have done that just like the loch ness monster might or might not exist. There's no physical proof for it and if you claim it exists in widestream society you'll be laughed out of town for the most part.

I'm not going to say that it was written afterwards. No, it is entirely possible that it was written before. And then someone read it and was a little wacked out of the head. Lots of people claim to be the sons and daughters of gods and to have supernatural powers. Many of them are in insane asylums right now, for their protection and ours.

If Jesus was born in this day an age and went abotu like he is said to have done then his parents, unless they were absolute christians or whatever, would stick him in therapy or an asylum. It's the cold hard truth of the world. And yeah, I know I'll get about twenty thumbs down but you asked my opinion so I gave it.

The New Testament was written to fit the prophesies. The events described never happened.

They could have very well been written when Jesus was around, or they made Jesus up to match the prediction.

properly, notwithstanding i understand that soil exists, i do no longer have confidence in sanctified soil and if any vicars/clergymen prefer to get buried with me as quickly as I die, I should not be the only combating them.
