The risk goes up some at 34/35; but the considerably higher risk is more associated with women closer to 40 and over.
The main risk that is often the concern tends to be genetic defects. (I have no idea what the heck a nuchal transleuncy is!! I'm kind of an ultrasound fan myself. :) )
Not long ago there was a news program that said women over 40 are at less risk than was previously believed.
To sum it all up: You don't have to think about the risk much at 35. There are, of course, no guarantees; but 35 isn't a big, high-risk, age.

Listen to your midwife. She has checked you and knows what is going on. You are not at high risk because she diagnosed this based on the tests. They generally say it is high risk at this age because there is a higher chance of complications but if you have run tests and are being treated preventively as you have then there is nothing to fear. Enjoy your pregnancy and you'll be just fine!

the sterotypes mean nothing as long as you are healthy and all is going well you are low risk. I wish you well with the new baby you do not say if its your first. I think being as first time mom older has more concerns but as humans we are all differant. I had 3 babys by 25 but wouldn't wont another now.
