I am a 42 yr widowed lady for 8 yrs. I have been told I am not bad looking and great personality. Where would a woman like myself find a good man. Someone that is open, honest and down to earth and easy on the eyes. Nonsmoker and nondruggy is perfered. Oh and I love sweet charming smiles and great bear hugs.

I would probably advise Church single outings.I don't know if church bothers you, but good people with good morals go there. When you go to bars and so forth.You will meet people there that have luggage. They are there for something,Alcohol,drugs,Sex,ect. You could meet people as well on the Internet,concerts,Or at the grocery store.Just go up to someone that you are attracted too and be a bit blunt.Tell the you find them attractive and ask them out (ask if they are involved with someone,and look for a ring).

I believe that the best way would be to do what you love to do-walking, movies, church and keep a warm smile. You'll already be in the environment with people with similar interests and you can chose the age that is desirable for you.

The best way is through friends. Honestly there are few men who are going to be great boyfriends in the bar or club. Work is also another avenue, but you're not supposed to date your co-workers.
