That one is a no brainer. The same one who has the maximum followers and Dominates the world now. Catholics.

"Islam" is as broad of a term as ""Christianity". There are many sects in Islam just like in Christianity. So Which sect will be the largest"? Still Catholics.

The religions have begun the beginning of the end of religion. You cannot continue to hide the 100 million victims who have been killed for God. Should mankind wait till it's 200 million and then look back and say, "What was wrong with us?" The day will come, like it or not, when intelligent life is discovered on other planets. What if rhey say that they never heard of God, Jehovah, Jesus, Allah, Buddah, Krishna, Vishnu, etc, etc ? What if they made a video record of them visiting this planet thousands of years ago and everyone praying to them because they came out of the sky? A mixture of continuous killing for God and discoveries of things that we never knew existed will make religion passe. Some people pick Islam as an answer to your question. Any religion that refuses to come out of the 11th century will fail. Women all over the World the are "stepping up to the plate", like it or not. Islam's attitude towards women (50% of world population) will cause it's own demise.

If people dont stand up. Islam will take over due to its violent nature. The law if islam is submit to allah or die. No matter what any P.C. person tells you. Just read the Koran and there texts. If we do wake up. In the far future, the leading belief system will be to be humanism and using science to explain the universe. Lets face it all religions are based on myth and legend with there roots in pegan tradions. All major religion claim to know the truth. Telling you they posses the absolute truth. In my opinion a person who knows the will of God has problem.(im not saying there is or isnt a God im just saying im not smart enough to know the truth are you?)

The major religions as we currently know them will continue to break down into smaller and smaller sects due to inner politics until they find that ever religion is the same, especially in there goals of peace and unity. This will lead to a global religion that at this point we could not even understand.

Most likely Islam. the majority of Muslims have many children and Islam has had a high rate of conversions, especially in the last 5 or so years. Christianity, primarilt Catholic Christianity will preobably be a close second.

Well, I wouldn't think that any religion would "dominate" the world. What the world needs now is not a religion to dominate the world, all we need now is LOVE & PEACE. Look around us, religious conflict is the greatest obstacle to peace on our planet today, don't you think so?

It's hard to say. Christianity is growing because of conversions, but Islam is still growing way faster because most Muslim families are having way to many kids! The actual number of people that Islam gain through conversions are much to small to pull ahead of Christianity in terms of conversion. An average Muslim family has about 6 kids. Compare that with the average of an American or European family which typically has 2 or three.

Of course, then there are the Catholics who aren't allowed birth control, but they represent only less than half of the 2 billion Christians on earth. They are still the biggest Christianic Denomination, but there are still another half that are Protestants.

It depends on the progress of education throughout the world. If people become more educated and not indoctrinated with religious dogma, religion will hopefully fade away and Atheism will rule.

All the false religions will combine. Only the true religion will stand alone. Watch out for it. It is coming.

hard to say.. given the birth rate of the muslims , and the fact the muslims are not allowed to convert to other religions.. maybe muslims???

but Christainity is gaining popularity in Asia ( every week my church alone converted nearly 30 people.. and mine is still a small church )
and Buddhism growing in USA and Europe..
the fight is on... why not the freedom for muslim to be able to convert too.. maybe some muslim might convert too (i do know some muslim wanting to convert to Christainity but faces challenges in the soceity)..

Atheist is also gaining popularity.. but mainly is the western society...

so let's be patient...
