My best friend does this all the time. She'll call me and ask for advice on what to do about her loser husband who doesn't work, is never home, and treats her like ****. She alreadys know exactly what I'm going to say for the 50 millionth time. So I got to the point where I told her if she wasn't going to listen to my advice then don't ask for it and as a matter of fact, just don't bring the subject up all together. It's gets annoying after a while.

You should be ashamed of yourself.

You think it is funny and it is a turn on.
How stupid and cruel can women be? Do you know how damaging that can be, it is a long list, but to keep it short he can have infertility problems or lose a testicle(yes not that rare)! It is not just hitting, in that private place and especially done by the opposite sex, men usually feels sexually abused(even if does not show his feelings). It is a sex offense. Not to mention the emotional trauma.
And women claim they are more sensible than men and non violent, yeah right!
That should only be used if someone is trying to rape you or kill you, only emergencies, only extreme cases of self-defense. If you do that in other situations, then you are 10 times worse than the guy you kicked.
If you think is funny to hurt and damage men like that, then you don’t deserve to be loved by any man or to have a family.
Even if he allows that, that don’t justify you wanting and enjoying doing that to men. You are taking advantage of a sick man.
Do you think men hurting women or raping them is funny too? No, because it affects you directly, typical female way of thinking. And you are spreading the word that is OK! You are lucky men are not like women, but some day you are going to kick the wrong guy and then you will lose your front teeth, or even worse go to jail.

Want to see the long list of damage, go see my answer, if you care.

Because our offline friends are too busy in their own selfish little worlds to listen to us. We're not really looking for advice to guide our lives. We just have extremely selfish friends, most of us, and we sometimes need someone who will talk about us and OUR problems for a change. Online is perfect for that, because once in awhile you come across a genuinely good soul whose advice is comforting even if you'll never use it. And if somebody becomes abusive, you don't have to show up at their house with a shotgun. You can just flick off to some other page and forget them in two minutes. So being online gives you the perfect taste of "one-serving friends" who will talk about you instead of themselves for a minute or two. At least that's my take on it.

Relationship is tricky and if not handled properly, it might just break. Some just want to make sure if what they wanted to do is the right thing. I don't find it bad to get more opinions from other people, both male and female, even if i already have an answer in my mind. It's just to widen your thoughts on a particular area. And you might even get a real good advice.

Well, it depends on the person, sometimes they have no clue and want to know their options, and sometimes people have an idea of what their resolution should be and want to see if other people think the same way, and other times they are already set on something and just want to know what other people think about the situation

No confidence and distrust on each other!

Emotionally once a person is about to contribute whole heartedly to the opposite one, it is better to take some advise from the experienced one to have a safe and fair play!!

They're perfectly capable of making their own decisions in life yet still want validation, other suggestions, or just different points of view.

Maybe the arguments given were not strong enough for the asker to change his/her decision.

Amen. I can not stand those kind of questions. It is so irritating. they ask a question thinking we know everything about the relationship. Ugh! I want to help, but enough of the crap already!
