The Apostolics live by the baptism "in the name of Jesus" mentioned in Acts 2:38. In which the apostle Peter mentioned to the Jews who were to be converted from Judiaism. What about the Great Commission that Jesus himself commanded in Matthew 28:19? What command would you adhere to, an apostle's or Christ's?

The Catholic Church accepts baptisms that follow the command of Jesus Christ as recorded in Matthew 28:19:

Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit.

Thus the Trinitarian baptismal formula:

[name], I baptize you in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit."

With love in Christ.

The apostles did fulfill the Great Commission in Acts, baptizing in the name of the Lord Jesus or Christ Jesus. Do you really think that men who lived so long with Jesus, and Peter especially, would suddenly make a huge mistake and no one catch it? Read through the early History of the Church and you will find that in the beginning every one was baptized in water, not sprinkled, and were baptized in the name of Jesus. Only later was this changed.
