I think Einstein quite consciously cultivated his own image. The public wanted him to be an eccentric absent-minded professor, so he played the role. When he attended a faculty dinner etc., he was always impeccably dressed and groomed.

It's not as if he was an unwordly guy, he owned a yacht, drove nice cars and was a bit of a "player" with the ladies. I'm sure he could have had any haircut he wanted, but he was enough of a self-promoter to play the role for the mass media.

In what dimension are you from. Oh I apologize, the Cult of the Yes I am a Good Consumer, buy, buy, buy. I must look like everyone tells me to, I must spend $, buy, buy, buy.
Alfred was more into stuff that matters, git it Alfie was into the possibility and the good that a Human can illuminate,,,,illuminate,, The massive equation was not the only thing the man did, he also played badmiktten, tennis, rode bicycles, normall stuff, cause he was an extraordinary man.
When a man is more concerened with his appearance than the substance that actually makes the man real, the man is lost to societies whims and fancies.

It wasn't a bad hair cut. He thought that brushing his hair was a waste of time. Seriously!

He didn't get a hair cut, he just wasn't worried with combing it.

Hair doos were not a priority in his life. Many folks scorn mainstream fashion, to the point that it becomes a 'fashion' for them.
