Darn. If he doesn't want to be in a relationship, that knocks you out of the running right there. If I were you, I'd get to know him and develop a friendship with him. Since he's "not looking", this gives you lots of ample time to become a good friend. Over time, either he may get to know you better, or you may end up seeing something in him that turns you off, and you'll thank yourself for testing the waters as his buddy first. Just take a deep breath, limit yourself to being friends with him, and find another fella to date in the meantime. Nothing serious. Play it cool and make sure you're not too "available" around this guy you like. Then, maybe by spring or so, he might be open to looking for a relationship. Guess who'll be first in the running then? YOU. Give it a try then check back with us, let us know how you did.

Ah, the age old question of "do I wait, or do I spill my guts and hope the for the best".
The only advice I can give really is; Ask yourself how much you really like this guy, and how much you're willing to lose for him. If you know him really well, and it doesn't sound like you really do, is your friendship worth losing? There's always a chance, when you open up to another person, that they will run away. So, do you continue to build a valued friendship, and hope he will develop feelings for you, or do you confess your feelings? If you do confess your feelings, I suggest telling him that you realize he doesn't want to be in a relationship right now, and you don't want to pressure him into something he doesn't want, you just felt you should be honest and forthright with him about your feelings. That way, if he doesn't return the emotion, he at least knows that you value his friendship enough to respect his decisions.

Well if you don't get into a relationship anytime soon it could turn out to become only a friend thing with very little chances of getting together later on. When he says he doesn't want to be in a relationship, he could be serious, or is hinting he doesn't want to be with you. Perhaps he just wants to be your friend? I know there are girls out there I'd much rather have as friends because I know we wouldn't work out in a relationship.

Well, you have to wait. Case when a girl gets a twisted Idea that there in a relationship with somebody its not a red flag to the guy, IT'S A BLAZING SIREN to stay away. Kick it with him , but do not talk about relationships all day, act like you think about something eles besides dating.

well im not a guy but i would say that you should not talk to him TOO MUCH because then you might end up in the friend zone and you know when you get to dat zone you cant get out!!! so be like really hot and misterious and see if he notices you and if he does then you can go ahead and tell him how you feel but if he doesnt seem interested its usually because he is not...sorry but i've learned that the hard way too many times so dats why im telling you...:(

I think it's his way of telling you he is not interested in being in a relationship with you, but he does value you as a friend. So don't get your heart broken over a guy who is not interested. Keep him as a friend, but look else where for romance. Good luck!

If he doesn't know you like him, maybe he will get to see you like a friend and no more. Maybe you should tell him you like him. This way, maybe you get a chance. But in case of a "No, I don't like you this way", you will have to know to loose. It is better to find out, then to be in incertitude. Good luck!
