My mum has never forgotten my b'day but my dad forgets all the time. Sometimes i admit he doesnt even forget, he just doesnt call! I know he loves and cares for me, but with b'days he is really blaze'. He just doesnt care. I have been hurt from it a couple of times, but i kind of got over it.

In return (and i didnt do this out of spite, only just to show him what it was like) i deliberately didnt call him for his b'day one year. That night i got a phonecall asking why i had never rang (seeing i had always rung him in the passed). I just said i didnt think he needed a ring seeing he was getting so much older, and he said he had still wanted me to call....so in return he now calls me every year. I dont get a card or present and dont expect it, but talking to Dad or Mum on my b'day is all i really need. Give them a call if you like, it wont hurt!

Happy Birthday!

If you celebrated it last weekend with them they may feel you know that they love you. It seems they didn't forget it but you all celebrated it a week earlier. If you call them and you are still upset they didn't call on the exact day of your birth then tell them that you missed getting the birthday call.
( I take it you have always gotten a call in the past or been at home on your birthday)
I don't know how old you are but after a certain age you sometimes wish people would forget your birthday. Have you ever forgotten their birthdays, mother's day or father's day? If so, forgive them and get on with the new year!

If they already celebrated with you last weekend, and gave you gifts, don't call them. They likely don't see a reason to call you. Be happy that they celebrated with you.

I'm still waiting for someone to ever celebrate my birthday with me. Long story there and I won't cry on your shoulder about it.

I wish you a very happy birthday today, and many more to come. God Bless you real good!

Yes. My parents have. Multiple times. While I was still a kid and lived with them.

You should not call, because if you do it'll make you seem bratty. If you really want them to be worried about you, then you need to act depressed, and say, "Today is my Black Day," or something of the works. Pretending to hate yourself, imitating masochistic tendancies, and other things will help them realize just how badly they screwed you over.

Are they Old? As for mine, yes they did ,but I understood. My
mother has Alzheimer Disease and when my father was still
living (passed 3-22-06) he too was ill to even Think about anything else but his own health, so that's why I understood.
If they are older, they tend to forget a lots of things. If they are
around my age 47 ,well I have no explanation for them. What
you do is tell them what you did for your B-Day an that will remind
them.

My parents have never forget to celebrate my birthday even if they realy did, I would just remind them, don't be shy, it is not the time to be, just tel them 'mummy/daddy, did you forget something? today is my birthday' I think you should cal them and ask them your birthday. I think they would at least wish you a hapy birthday.
