Do you know that my Niece actually did this & got the results. She sent the results to Tootsie Roll Industries, Inc. They sent her a nice letter with general statistics of others who have done this and even sent her a certificate for completing her task. I do not know how many licks it took her & is too late to call & find out, but it was an interesting project.

According to the owl in the commercial it was only three. But as a kid I tested it and I did it in 463 licks. (but you only lick one side)
