A relaxer is a chemical process that changes your hair texture at the molecular level so unfortunately, there's no way to reverse the process. The weakest point of your hair will be where the virgin (new growth) and the relaxed portion meet. This is where your hair will break off if not properly cared for. Deep conditioning and regular trims are vital while growing out. Try to stay away from curling irons and other appliances as much as possible since they may dry your hair causing more damage and breakage. Wearing your hair in braids or with sewn in extensions is the best way to grow it out if you don't want to cut all of the relaxed hair off. This is an excellent time to go to a salon and have your hair tended to professionally. Good luck!!

Apart from cutting it off. You could try setting your hair when damp on to large or jumbo rollers and let it air dry. I did this when i was growing my perm out. It certainly helps but you will need to keep doing it every time you wash your hair.

If you growing perm out you need to cut the relaxed ends so it can grow evenly and won't look scraggly.

The safest and most effective way is to just let it grow out and wear off.

Either let it grow out or cut your hair. It's really better to let it grow out.

You will have to let it grow out, by itself.
