So why do Christians get so angary by Atheist's and other's who question their belief?
Think of it as a religious workout. We hate to workout, so is a challenge of your faith an attitude of" I don't feel like working today".

I think it does sharpen your beliefs when someone challenges them. Sometimes the anger that people show is insecurity in what they believe. They don't know how to answer a question someone asks them and so they lash out at the person for even asking. When people ask what I believe it also helps me to examine what I believe and creates a dialog between the two of us.

may be the temple of the faith of the butt head could continue this childish never ending debate and open a new venue called never ending debate of worthless resolve and unending disagreement
At least leave some room for other questions that might present some value this is getting monotonous and I've never gotten angary about anything in my entire life maybe angry ......

I think so. When you get down to the core beliefs of any religion, only a few have very hard and set rules. And hard and set rules are pretty hard to defend.
Mine has some pretty simple hard and set rules. The rest is left up to us. We were given brains and we're expect to use them. And that's the biggest rule of them all. Use yer damn brain! Other than that, we have the Nine Noble Virtues, but they don't bind anyone who hasn't sworn an oath to uphold them. I sure wish they would sometimes, that's for sure. I don't see how anyone could disagree with honor, courage, hospitality, etc, etc....

People get angry when their beliefs are belittled or critisized - all people. People get angry when the beliefs of another are foisted upon them and they are made to feel compliance is mandatory - all people. Often times athiests and christians seem to be getting in a ring to duke it out for the last time who is actually correct.
Personally, I don't understand why athiest feel a need to convince christians that they, specifically, are wrong (or to get them to say "I am an idiot for believing as I do"). I don't understand why christians are trying to scare or demand or trap athiests into embracing jesus as their savior. Live and let live, folks.
Peace!

Fault finding is bad. People who just find fault never actually wants any answer, they just want to destroy
Genuine Doubt and challenge is good, because it stirs us to find out the truth, that will in turn stregthen what we know and understand, thus, reshaping us to grow and expand.

Yes!
I agree. I enjoy coming to this site, for that reason. Sometimes I want to learn more. Sometimes I want to state my opinions.
I like to read other people's perspectives and I gain so much information about others and myself by debating.

yep. When you lack faith..you are always in fear of disconfirming reasons for your belief. too many religious robots don't really have any faith, that's why they need churches and to always be surrounded by their own kind. if they were to go out into the world like jesus and his disciples, they would all lose their beliefs.
