what should i expect in air force boot camp?

Expect to be treated like a less than bright 4 yr. old. There will come a time when you are grateful for all the humiliation you are about to recieve. AF is the best of the services. I may be a bit biased dad was Career AF.



Be glad you didn't join the Marines.

Expect first for TI's to yell for 6 + weeks.
Expect to learn how to use a gun and learn how to fold underwear, t-shirts, etc smaller than you ever thought possible
Expect doing a lot of physical activity (so get off your butt and get into shape now)
Expect to shower with 15 + people of the same sex in the showers everyday after PT
Expect to crawl through mud, sand, and wear the ugliest pair of glasses ever (if you need them)
Expect something totally different from movies, media, etc- it was much easier
Expect to be a changed man (or woman) after BMT
And expect to be very horny....lol
And expect a recieved letter from a loved during basic more valuable than yourself

Also, don't expect to get smacked around- those days are gone (at least in the girl flights)
And for God's sake blend in as much as possible- if you volunteer for stuff off the bat you'll pay for it later

Expect to be buff afterwards :)
I only know the army bootcamp, but some weeks you have to get up insanely early with very limited amounts of sleep. You will probably be doing lots of exercises and maybe some training missions. GL man and be glad your not on the front lines.
