There definitely is something... what it is I am not exactly sure but, it is much more than anyone here can ever know. I have read a lot on this..and somethings have me think...maybe there is a better life after we die.... I am skeptical on quite a few things. I do however believe this physic Sylvia Browne.. You should watch and listen to things she says.. it is amazing.. She appears on Montel every Wednesday. Is there a "GOD"? That is not so believable from where I sit but, again, that is not been proven to me as of yet. LL.

How would life on other planets negate the reality of God? There could very well BE life on other planets or in other galaxies. Why would I care? God put before me here a responsibility to be an example and try to reach people that I come in contact with and win their souls to Him. He didn't put within me a need to question about life on other planets. There are too many souls all around me that are lost and that I actually have a possibility of reaching. He could very well have alien missionaries out there winning souls on their planets as well. I'm not so vain as to think we are the only "people" God could care about. His is omnipotent and omnipresent. He created everything - even all of those billions of galaxies you speak of. Of course He could have other lifeforms out there.

There is life of some form on most all planets. And yes, knowing that makes "my" God even more real. I can't believe the things some religions contend as true. Why would any one be so naive to believe that God picked one little planet to put our pathetic souls on?
I also believe that earth is very behind compared to life on other planets. I also believe that we have had visitors from some of the planets before and will continue.

I think it is highly likely that there are other types of life that exist in other galaxies.

But this does not detract from my belief in G-d. There is force that created everything, right? Why is it foolish to think that G-d was this force?

Men have cloned animals - made embryos in labs, engineered very specific genetic traits. We created life, but we don't know how this life views us. We cannot interpret the language of animals, though we are trying.
What if our ability to domesticate animals stems from animals thinking they have to be subservient to us because we are G-ds? Some animals obey - tigers, elephants, even dogs. Why? fear? Dogs "love us," right? Why - how do we know what love is to them?

Who knows, maybe aliens created us, and G-d created aliens. :)
For is G-d not an alien to us until death - or the truly lucky - those who have born witness to his presence while they are alive.

So yes, I think my G-d is real. And even if he is not, the spiritual plane where I have harbored love for such divinity is an energy that will be recycled back into Earth or some other galaxy eventually because energy is never destroyed. And that - is a "scientific fact"

I believe we all have our own life and purpose, yes. But that's my belief, and I will not inflict it on you.

I do not care if I never see another life on another planet because the great diversity of life here on this one is enough to keep me busy forever! I am basically happy here. Aren't you?

Also, my AlVater is very powerful. It would be arrogant of me to think I was the only one, and we were the only world that he cared about, don't you think?

Realize I'm not a christian, but an Asatruar. We already believe in many realms, so why not many worlds like this one?

If there is other life out there, it doesn't prove nor does it disprove the existence of God. That should be obvious to anyone with a brain.

"if there is other life out there (which there most likey is) " Why WOULDN'T I think my God is real?

YES!!!!!! God is the almighty creator. He created the heaven's and the earth. (Notice I said "Heaven's". That's plural. That means other life forms as well.) God created everything and everyone. Yes there is probably other life forms but god created them just as he has created the earth and humans and animal's. We may never see them in this lifetime, but maybe in the afterlife.

He is still real, i doubt the other life out there would even want to come here since were so evil, and they must be living in a sinless state.

Yeah there may be well over 1 billion galaxies: but there is only one universe and one universal power, which makes me believe that our GOD is the source of all that universal energy! I love my energy and I know it is from the the universal God.

If there is other life out there, then God put it there and you can be sure He has His plan for it. You should read a book by C.S. Lewis, called "Out of the Silent Planet." Whether "they" and we ever see each other, or reach each other, is immaterial to me.
