i'd also like to add that those answers full of what religion and god says really sadden me to the reality of how our world is.....an unborn baby should not be held responsible for anything that some barefoot guy named "jesus" died for.. that was his decision...noone asked him to do it..mothers die all the time for their children..id give my life for anyone in my family...does that make me a savior? i think not....hope you never have to deal with the idea that a child you never got to meet might be in some horrible place..or even "limbo" where "hopefully" they'll go to a good place if "enough people pray for them" screw that....

I like the idea that he is reincarnated as another baby that gets to live a real life.

Children are innocent until the age of accountability. For most that is 8 years old.

If God has placed a spirit into the life of the fetus and the fetus dies, then that spirit will go to heaven.

If God has not placed a spirit yet into the life of the fetus, then there is no spirit to worry about heaven or hell.

The question is when does God place the spirit into the life of the fetus? The answer is.........who knows? It might be before birth, but there is no scripture to support that. Certainly, once a baby is born and taken a breath, the spirit is there.

If God, or nature, ends the life of the fetus, then we should not worry ourselves over the fate. It is all in God's hands.

A baby will go straight to God if it dies.
Baby angels are all over heaven, we will know all of our children there, the age of accountability is 12 years old
God does not send innocent life to hell
God is Love....
I know a man who visited Heaven and he saw baby's all over heaven.
Jesus said let the little children come to me, when some did not want to let them.
The original sin has nothing to do with this.
That brought sin into the world, but the child has never sinned, he knows nothing about sin. The child is sinless
Jesus said a little child will lead them, because of the faith of a child.

Not christian, but the way it was explained to us was that there is a certain age of accountability. If the child dies before that time of accountability is reached, then they are welcomed into the arms of God. If not, then where they go is determined by God.

Either way, an unborn child is considered innocent of sin.

In Islam we know that when a baby is born he is born on the truth, he knows that there is one God the creator of everything. but when he become a child he follows the path of his parents, he becomes a jew , pagan ,christian,....so he choose most of the time the religion of his parents.
so if the baby dies in the woumb , In the day of jugement he will have a test. If he pass the test he will go to heaven, but he he fell the test he will go to hell.
but what kind of test is it?
In this life God tell us to surrender completely to his will, wich simply means Islam in arabic. so we have to follow the commands of God, the teaching of his prophet. we have to worship God only because there is no deity who has the right to be worshiped but God.
in the day of jugement God will test those people and will tell them to throw themselve in the fire. so some will surrender to his will and say, your are the king and everything is yours, and whatever you commande we obey . and they will be the winner, because they passed the test.
the other kind of people will start arguing with God, how can we throw ourselves in the fire? God will answer, the same way you would have desobeyed to my messengers and prophets when my message would reached you in the earthly life. and they will be thrown in the fire for etenity.
now the message of God is here. the Prophet Muhammad has been attacked, insulted, mocked by people of 14 centuries, his book the Quran < preserved in its original language more than 1400 years> because the message is << worship God alone without partners>> God is not the author of confusion.
ask yourself why God sent prophets?
why he punished the people of noah?
why he punished the people of Lot?
what is the religion of Abraham?
why Muhammad? why the Quran? why 1.6 billions muslims?
why christians priests enter Islam?
the religion of God is simple without mysteries.
wake up christians.
may God guide us all

I believe the bible teaches that nobody goes to hell until they have reached the age of accountability(old enough to understand the truth of the gospel) and have rejected the gospel. Babies who die in the womb do go to heaven. In the same way it is useless to baptize a baby. It certainly doesn't automatically give that baby eternal life. As long as the baby has not reached accountability it will go to heaven anyway if it dies but once it reaches accountability it must accept Christ in order to enter heaven.

Babies are born without spiritual iniquity. Iniquity is a learned thing... It is acquired via experience through choice.

If a baby dies without having the opportunity to make an incorrect decision and having the ability to weigh the difference between right and wrong, then it is guiltless......

Therefore, the "stain" of sin, is not upon that soul.

It shall enter the kingdom of heaven.....

No, an innocent unborn baby never goes to hell. Catholics believe the baby would go to Limbo...since it was not christened and cleansed of the original sin. When people pray for them, then they pass on to heaven.

In order to be convicted of sin one must be conscience of sin. A baby in the mothers womb does not have the concept of sin or it's consequences yet. Therefore, to answer your question, no, the unborn child will not be damned.

I can't judge that because I am not God, but God is fair and just. There is a such thing as Baptism by desire which means that someone would have been Baptized, but because of circumstances beyond there control prevent them. I think those babies would fall under that catagory.

A baby that does not live to make it into the world has not sinned and it is my belief that they go directly to heaven - to be with God.
