Definetly tell them about Jesus and to repent their sins to God and get them saved fast! Hopefully they will go to Heaven.

Tell them that there only love and peace that waits for them. It's unfair to tell someone about Jesus if they're Jewish or Hindu.
Why does it matter what G-d exists so long as they know G-d's love?
And what's the point in giving them pain killers if you know they're going to die? Humanity? Anyone would give someone pain killers - but it seems more like you're asking if we would ease their pain - as in terminate their agony by killing them.
Five minutes of painful existence is something many healthy people would trade with their dying loved one if they could hold onto them for that much longer.
As a Hindu, I think it's karma - some must to suffer. Pain makes you understand compassion and love better, like death makes you appreciate life more.
That being said, I also believe in Christ. I know of the tenderness and love in Christianity -something that many Christians will never find - so who is qualified to "tell others about Jesus?"
Prayer. I choose prayer. If it was possible, I would stay until the person passed and just pray over them. I think the bigger worry I'd have is that they "find the light" after they've died.
Whew. Didn't know I had that much to say. :)

Give them the painkillers. I'm not religous, but even if I was, I wouldn't lecture anybody about religion (despite what you may think, most athiests don't appreciate being told about Jesus or God, and view it as a lecture), and if I could ease somebody's suffering, then I should do it, not presume to tell them how they should live. Besides which, the chances of somebody changing their mind on how they view the world in 5 minutes, while in extreme pain, and likely being well aware of their pending death, is extremely low.
Not that I'm really sure if most painkillers would work within 5 minutes. I don't know, I've never been to the hospital.

Inasmuch as I'm a Pagan (was raised Lutheran).....and a nurse, who has taken vows to do what I can to relieve suffering and ease pain....
.....it's gonna be "push the morphine", and ask the Goddess to let its pain-relieving effect kick in REAL fast, that the person may die peacefully.
Think the Eternal, by whatever name(s) we use, will have mercy and compassion for all of us----many paths to wisdom are open.

The pain killers will help them here and now. If Jesus is real then he can take care of things afterwards.
I'll go with reality.

Oh the painkillers. Unless they have lived in a cave their whole life they already know about Jesus and made their decision there.
to ease their pain is the most humane thing to do.
Depending on the pain killer it can be very quick - administered in the vein it cam start in just a few seconds.

well first off... are the pain killers gonna kick in before 5 mins was up? and 2nd of all, does this person already know about jesus? i'm agnostic, so i would probably give them the pain killers, but if they wouldn't kick in for 5 mins, i would probably tell them what i've heard about jesus (if they wanted me to)... just in case he is real.

I would tell them about Jesus.
Morphine and Codeine I do not have, but what I do have I give to you, I give you Jesus.
I am not a Doctor, and I do not walk around with painkillers in my pocket.
If it is the will of God, He will take the pain away without any pills or shots.
