Ah, the pardox of this life. Much of what appears pleasing or tempting, in fact has only a brief period of satisfation. Thus, sex, drugs, or any other "good" sin give a moment of gratification and then leaves the person feeling filthy and hollow. To overcome the feeling, the person returns (like a dog to his vomit) to the temptation to get that momentary release from feeling bad--and on and on.

Repentence is a hard process and requires much effort. But with proper abstinence the Holy Ghost returns to the life of that individual and comforts them. This comfort can be lifelong and will sustain us in the enternities.

If sinners only could stop long enough to feel the blessings of returning to God, they would be converted. But, again, it is a tough road, and sin is easy. That is why it is hard to conver a good sinner.

I hope all of us that have sinned can stop, repent and find communion with God again--soon.

Blessings!

because a relationship with God is personal. Who are you to say that "a good sinner" needs to be converted? Live your life as an example and you won't need to convert anyone. Worry more about your own relationship with God and how it is reflected in your daily life--God will worry about the "good sinner".
just my opinion

Why do you want to convert this "good sinner" so badly and to what do you want to convert him/her? Instead, do some good and go volunteer as a Big Brother or work for the Red Cross.

Because you know that voice we call a concience, I like to believe that is the voice of reason, and when you're a "good sinner" that voice slowly gets softer and softer until they can't hear it anymore. That's when they think they aren't really doing anything wrong anymore, and their lives are fine the way they are. Just keep doing what you are doing and have faith and God will take care of the rest. You're doing our job and you know God will do his.

Well because living in sin can be fun. come on you know you thought it was fun doing all those things out in the world.

people think being a christian means you have to be stodgy and boring and meanhearted.

witness while listening to God. He will make it easier. or plant a seed, and let the vinedresser worry with the rest.

Because there is pleasure in sin......for a season.
But after that.......the judgement.

Too many people live for today with no thought or care as to what tomorrow brings. Perhaps they think they will convert in the 11th hour. God help them if they die in the 10th.

Convert to him to ur religion. It is because maybe they don't believe they samething as u. Because they sin don't mean that don't believe in God. Because they call God by a different name don't mean it isn't the same Diety. Did u know that god has 72 names besides the one we as human gave him/her.

Why do you feel the need to convert anyone? Why can't you people just let others live their own lives? Why do you have to push your beliefs on others? It's annoying. You don't think people know about God? Geesh just go away.
