Some people say 6 to 8 months but I unfortunately know for a fact that it can happen as early as 4 months. I know this because in the past I was under the very false impression that it was better to get the cat fixed after her first heat. She went into heat at months months with what is sometimes referred to as a silent heat...she did scream, wail, roll, or put her hinny in the air. Needless to say she got pregnant and not only did she not survive labor but all four of her kittens died too. I found out later that if I had taken her in to get fixed that the vet would have removed the uteruses and spayed her...she never would have died. My advice to you...if you are not planning to breed your cat then please for her sake get her fixed. If she is already pregnant and is less than a year old then get her fixed anyway. If you are planning on breeding her then please for her sake wait until she is a year old....then not only will she be truly healthy enough to carry and deliver a litter, she'll be emotionally mature enough to care for them properly....ensuring healthy kittens.

A female cat can get pregnant as early as 4-6 months old, but that isn't recommended. It is not good for their bodies to get pregnant that young, plus at such an early age, they may reject the kittens or not know what to do with them. Ideally, you should have a female cat spayed as early as the vet will do it---8-10 weeks old. If you are intending on letting your cat get pregnant, you should keep her away from males until she is at least 1 year old. But to be responsible, you shoud really get her spayed.

The domestic cat can at 6 to 9 months of age. But, maybe as early as 5 months of age. Purebred cats are thought to be able earier then domestic, but this is not well-documented. Free-roaming cats may also reach the "pregnant" age earlier than either.

As early as six months of age they can get pregnant. It is not recommended to allow it though, as it can be very dangerous to the cat. Please spay your cat!

Between 6 and 9 months. It depends ont he cat and when they come in heat. If you don't want them to get pregnant then you can get her fixed when she is 6months old. Good luck
