,,,,,, I believe in God ,, but at the same time , there are too many crazy religious FREAKS,, the ones that really appear crazy ... and they make us all look bad.. . I do not wish to offend them ,, that would be wrong,, but I wish that some thing would knock some good sense into them.. also show them how God really wants them to treat '' all ''people..

Jews and Christians are easiest to offend. I was talking about Hitler a few years ago and I get some e-mail from a Jewish teen, swearing at me and what not.
Hardest--- Well, I really do not know about that. I would say Muslim, but they do seem to get offended at times.

I'm not atheist but I do have an opinion on this. No religion should be the easiest to offend. They should have open-mind to the fact people believe differently than them. Because u don't agree with them u don't have to condemn them. Execpt the fact that they are merely different than urs. This could end alot of problems between religions, beliefs, etc.

Baptist's are the easiest to offend, Catholics often joke about themselves as do Jewish.
And why do I even try "what"? Not sure what you mean. I don't try, I ignore them.
We don't agree or disagree on everything. Frankly, the only ones that bother me are the ones that try to "save" me and the hypocrites.
Even as an Atheist, I need to be quick to see where religious and spiritual messages are right and not always pointing out where they are wrong.
Peace.

It seems general Christians are the easiest and buddhists the hardest. I find they come to me, not the opposite

Are you really that ignorant about what Atheism is?
We don't go out of our way to offend any religion, unlike many Christians who feel that putting down those with other belief/non belief systems is their reason for living.
But we will defend our views if someone tries to force religion down our throats.

Not interested in trying to offend anyone. It just seems to be a side-effect of skepticism.

i think that this question is pretty offensive and stereotypical against atheists..so my question for you is: why is it so easy for you to call your self a christian( which im sure you are) yet you come to an internet forum and make fun of your own people ( and by people i mean the human race, tolerant as you claim to be you seem to be pretty angry at something..) go to church and ask your priest to make you less angry...flick some magic water at ya..and make you a little less bitter=0)

PEOPLE with weak beliefs are easy to offend ( i am a non-believer in religion but love to discuss it with people of faith - others viewpoints are so enlightening )
