Do what ever you can Lacy, i can tell you this much as a fact, you'll love Tampa very much as ive lived here for more than 30 years, if you get to maske the trip be sure to check out bush gardens, and water world right around the corner where the water is heated in the pools and the sidewalks are water, for pics check out clearwater beach at night, as well as our courtney campbell causeway.sand keys beach as well as appolo beach, try baking cookies or yard sales to start with maybe some babysitting jobs with all you pitching in what you can
talk with your local preacer, maybe he/she can help in some way, try your public libarry and ask if you can leave a donation jar on there desk for your planed trip.our daughter went out tyhere to your knotts berry farm and loved it as you and ypur freinds would really love it here ,good luck to you and all your freinds on raising the money 4 your trip here,,,stinger5906,,, let me know how your doing on your fund raising at stinger5906@yahoo.com

Take up con artistry -- the skills you learn there will help you when you're in the business world later in life! Just kidding. Honestly, you could bus tables if you've got some strength (cafes are ideal for this since plates and table loads tend to be smaller), work as a bookseller, that sort of thing. These were jobs I did around that age, so I know you can get hired for them. I also busked for money (street performances), and cheated my friends at poker, but these were practiced skills from a misspent youth. Most important thing is to talk to your parents and ask them what you could do. Be adult about it, explain that you feel things like washing the car and mowing the lawn are occasional chores which you're happy to do for the extra money, but they don't mean a steady income stream that you feel would safely earn you enough money for the trip, and you want to earn the trip for yourself. Good luck and enjoy the trip. I hear Italy is lovely that time of the year.

You shouldn't expect a handout. Generosity is wonderful trait, but the reality is most people can't spare that kind of money and the ones that can won't. I would suggest asking your parents to take you to costco, buy some boxes of charms blow pops and sell them at school. a box costs $5-8 and they contain a 100. sell them at a quarter and you make 17-20 bucks a box. you'll be suprised at how quarters add up. It doesnt have to be blow pops, you probably know what your classmates like, but the profit margin on suckers is pretty good. Good luck.

When I lived in California students made the most money doing car washes. One trick is to get people to sponsor you, like a dollar a car and wash the car for free or any donation, so you'll get lots of cars. Good Luck.
