I would say emphatically no to the first two, and yes to the third. The powerful emotion love cannot be easily defined or described. As present as it is...and always around us, its just as illusive and invisible.
When you think you are, most times you're not. Then you find you are when initially you had no clue. Then again much later someone may come along that evoke emotions so powerful that make you realize that nothing in your past was anywhere close.
Get my drift?
I think, more importantly, is to be fully aware of who YOU are and what yourself is all about. That way if you are lucky enough, when it happens you will be able to handle it.
Remember this...being in love is never all peaches and cream. It could be with the wrong person. Even with the right person it still will require work, diligence and perseverance to keep it whole.

Lust and chemistry begins with a look or gesture. Love takes a bit longer...You must know that person well. You must accept their weaknesses, and admire their strengths, respect them, think of them as your best friend, be attracted to them physically as well as emotionally, and not ever want to risk losing them, so cheating is not even an option. Then and only then can you say you love them.

Hello,
Well first off I don't believe in love at first sight. I think that to love someone you have to truly know them, which means you have to have some form of a relationship with them.
The moment I knew I was in love with my boyfriend we were on a really casual date (which meant renting a video and eating take out). We had just sat down on the couch, when he reached over and grabbed my hand. He started rubbing my hand with his thumb, which is something he just does subconciously. It just felt like the most natural thing in the world. We had held hands hundreds of times before, but this time was different. And I could just tell.
I hope this helps, and good luck.

I think with me it kind of grows and grows and I know its happening, but at the same time I don't realize it. Then all the sudden BAM it hit me. Like you said when you least expect it. But then after the initial shock of it all I can look back and be like yeah..I should've saw it coming.

Love begins when you allow it to come in and that you are sure you can give it too unconditionally.
Looks has nothing to do with it. Its magic.

It starts with the smile, the kind of smile that light up the eyes and melts your heart.

I think you know it when it comes... you feel complete and out of this world when love comes to you... next thing you know you can't be without him/her... you just can't get enough of him/her... your heart starts beating fast... you can barely breath... and all you wanna do is to look into his/her eyes...
