Many years ago, an elderly doctor advised me to make my own cough syrup. He said to buy a bag of "Pillar candy"...now this is the soft sugar peppermint striped candy in the shape of a tiny pillow. He said to crush it up and pour it in a small jar. Cover the candy with the whiskey you like best. I used Jack Daniels. He said to shake it often till the candy was dissolved. It was, and is, the most effective cough syrup I've ever used.

Two suggestions:
Juice of 1/2 lemon
1 shot brandy
Spoonful of honey
in a large mug, and
boiling water to the top
and, more likely to be useful for your project -- make a horehound syrup. There's a recipe for the candy, which is a traditional cough remedy, here:
http://waynesword.palomar.edu/ecoph37.htm#horehound
See also:

And, there's a pile of relevant recipes here, including one for horehound syrup:

(What's the priority -- simple, or effective...?)

My mum used to make me this really sweet thing that always helped when I had cough: She would caramelise few tablespoons of sugar in a saucepan, and then add a glass of milk in it, stirring until the sugar would melt. You need to drink it while is very warm.

Atta flour is used only to make Indian style flat breads. It is really useless for anything else, for some reason. Type Atta in your search engine, or Atta flour, both will take you to a sight where roll ups/flat breads are on recipe
