I agree with everyone else. The doctor is attracted to the "other" girl, but doesn't think much else of her. On the other hand, it sounds like he respects you more and must be attracted to you too. Is he just rating everyone in the office or what? How do you feel about him? Think about this and try not to let it effect your job! Good Luck

It means that his impression of you is that you're the 'stable and solid' choice for a long term relationship. He might not mean that literally, as it's pretty common for people that are in close proximity to make such 'what if' comments like that, but, the interest could be there it's true. If he's a doctor in the military though he's an officer, and if you're in the office and military as well then you're most likely enlisted... so THAT would never happen. Other than that possible assumption on my part... his statement seems to point out that this other person is a little more adventuresome and intriguing to his short term needs... but if he was wanting a life partner, he'd be knocking on your door tomorrow. Hope this helps and doesn't confuse matters more. :)

Turn that statement around, and pretend that you were telling your friend, "that guy is one of those bad boys that you'd want to date, but he's not the kind of guy you'd want to take home to mom and marry." Now do you understand? The other girl is obviously not marrying material, but looks like she'd be a lot of "fun" if ya know what I mean. You on the other hand are a "nice" girl and smart and would make a good wife and mother someday. That is about the best compliment that you could ever get. Try a little flirting to get his attention, that will show him that we nice girls can be a little fun sometimes too! Ha Ha

you can interpret that in numerous ways.
I see it as a suttle compliment. The other employee has a reputation and is easy, you on the other hand are someone that he respects.
He may see you as "the girl" to take home to mom.
Now it may go to the other extreme, which I doubt. You have a reputation as a wild slut and to be married to one means sex all the time, anytime. But like I said I doubt this choice because real men do not want a "used " woman for their life long partner.
He may be shy, if you respect him - allow for a date. You might like him if you don't already.

Hello,
I think it means that you are the type of girl that he wouldn't take for granted. He couldn't just date you. I consider dating to be a casual thing. To be involved with you, would be a relationship and a serious thing.
But even if that's not exactly what he means, I would take it as a compliment. After all marriage trumps dating, but that also depends on who you're asking.
I hopet his helps, and good luck.

It's a game we men play where we measure up different women. They have the marrying kind and the kind you just would sleep with and know you couldn't spend your life with.
That fact that a coworker told you could be good con game by the doctor to get you to sleep with him, or it could be that he just sees you as a really good person.

It means that he is attracted physically to the other employee, but you are a woman worth sharing a life with. I know exactly what he means.

That means that he finds the other woman attractive enough to go out to with, but sees no long term possibilities in the relationship.
With you he see everything he desires; he sees deeper than a physical attraction. He may already be in love with you and you don' even know it.

Men usually see women in two categories. There are the ones they'd date, usually low class, easy women and the ones they'd marry, who they see as more classy and the type they can take home to meet the family. Take that as a compliment.

I would take that as a complement, that means your the kind of girl he'd be happy to take home to Momma, sounds like the other might just be good for a "fun" time.
