Please tell me if this seems low to you or is it just me.

I live in a small town, everyone knows everyone, so of course my friends and family know alot that goes on in this town.

My ex-fiance and I broke up in June, it was a bad breakup, especially since we broke up two weeks before we were to be married.

In the last 5months he has been very bitter and cold to me, he has said very mean things about me which I just ignore, he recently started seeing a girl who lives here, they have been dating about a month, I have accepted it, he has moved on so I did too.

We both work at the same place, and we both see the same people every day, he recently, proposed to this girl, at the place where I work in front of my friends, he even asked a band that plays at our job who hasn't seen us in 6 months to play a song for him so he could propose to another girl. It was pretty embarassing, considering these had no clue we were even broken up, He could have asked her anywhere, why there

Ok. So he's a jerk. I think you must have figured that out and thus are not marrying him. Good decision. Let his new fiance figure it out the hard way.

Sounds like he hasn't gotten over it. Sounds like he was trying to piss U off. It seems like if he wanted to he could find a much more romantic, much better place to propose to another girl than in font of you, at work.

Good thing U didn't marry him cause he is a jerk!

I personally think that is low..unless he is trying ot hurt you,,just dont pay mind to it..as he is free to do whatever he wnats wherever he wants to..but i say just ignore all his comments and all his doings..he is obviously playing the fool,,trying to make you look bad..but he is only making himself look foolish..looks like he is not over you if he keeps on mentioning you and doing things to hurt you...but he indeed is ajerk.

Maybe he was wanting to 'one up' you. Maybe he wanted to show he could find someone else he felt was better( sorry)....all this while he felt you were still interested in him. Did you hurt him somehow to make him go this route? Hurt does stange things to relationships...it has many faces. I teach Psychology....at a local High School up here in Canada.

he is either totally oblivious to how it could affect you - someone who, though the relationship ended, he had loved.....or he is mean and wants to hurt you, probably because he hurts and still cares. either way, he doesn't sound like someone who would be a good lifelong partner. Dumb or heartless? you don't need him.

yep! he's a jerk i think he is trying to get under your skin .. if they have only been dating a month i doubt they will even get married and if they do it won't last. I know it's hard but try not to let him bother you good luck :)

obviously he is a little immature and looks like he's ready to settle down. I wouldn't worry about it. Be happy for him and move on.

He is insensitive. You need to just keep moving on, any reaction from you just keeps it going. It is in the past now....forget it!
