If you use hot water or butter or any other type of lubricant, it may get mixed with your martini. Use some coca cola. the best thing you can use for such a situation.

Sounds like it may be something sticky that maybe is causing this, unless it is rusted. If it is possibly sticky, I would say to soak it in warm water and a little dish soap. If you think it might be rusted, I would try a little wd 40. If its not a special shaker, they have some very nice ones at target that are stainless steel that you could replace it with. Best of luck

With repest, i'm shy of beginning information lower than those circumstances, so I have not considered the image. I recommend that you're taking your shaker to a eating position grant and get a demo of which the execs use and how they use them. in case you settle on that your shaker set is worth, perhaps the save clerk can help you contained in the disengagement. otherwise manage your self to a clean rig.

Try running it under hot water for a few seconds. If it's metal or plastic, the heat should allow for some expansion, which ought to help it come off.

You can either run it under warm water to try and expand it, or you can try hitting the edge with a butterknife. Either way, it should loosen it enough for you to be able to help.
