Yes I believe this is true. Your mind is everything. If you see it in your mind it will become reality.

To a certain extent, yes.
Any doctor will tell you that your attitude and state of mind are essential to the recovery and treatment of any medical problem. The scientific explanation would be that our different moods and thoughts cause the brain to create different sets of chemicals, and the chemicals we create when we have positive feelings help boost the immune system, and the chemicals we create with negative feeling and thoughts actually suppress our immune system.
I do however believe in something that goes beyond all of that. I think it gets lost in the 90% of our brains that most of us are incapable of using. Is all of that tissue just a waste of space? I don't think so.
There is also the placebo/belief effect. Some people believe so strongly in the effects of prayer, rituals, etc that it has been known to inexplicable cure. My daughter was diagnosed with leukemia when she was 14 months old. I spent a week with her in the Cancer Ward of the St Jude's hospital in New Orleans. She was being treated for the disease, and barely had the strength to open her eyes for 5 or 6 days. I was by her side every moment, devoting every thought to prayer for her life and the fact that this simply could and would not happen to her. Nurses were preparing her for a test where a hole would be drilled in her hip to extract bone marrow to determine what type of and the extent of the disease, when her doctor walked in and told us that we could go home, that the test was too invasive to put her through at the time. Blood tests from the previous day and that morning showed no evidence of leukemia-it had simply vanished. I of course had to follow up for quite some time with her physician to make sure that it was not a fluke or a mistake, and there has not been a relapse. I truly believe that she was healed through the power of prayer and positive thought.

Most physicians would call you "un educated", most psychologists would call you 'crazy" and just about every scientist would tell you to stop talking "mumbo jumbo".

As a member of the community whom has first hand experience I firmly believe this to be true. Have you been listening to david icke or something?

Its explained basically like this.

Your not just a living body, you are everything that exists.
you are multi dimensional infinity created br random particles, jopined through sound and reflected by light.

Everything is sound.............the sounds allways start from inside your head when you are creating reality therefore doctors are most likey to perform acts of either "chemical balancing" or physical operation/manipulation. Its a fact that in most cases a doctor treats a wound or ailment after a chemical reaction has occured with more chemicals and perhaps operation. All these treatments occure after a series of significant events have occured and its "too late". As they say the best medicine is prevention. therefore dont expect to go through life believeing that cigarettes will kill you then when you get cancer believe that you can reverse the damage...NO!!!!

The message behind your brain controllng health is to live mindfully with compassion and understanding of the self and the relationship you have with the entire universe.

I believe that when a person stays calm and doesn't display traits of anger. They can stay in better health. A calm heart and mind is a good one. I know you said only scientific answers, But this saying " A calm heart is the life of the fleshly organism, but jealousy is rottenness to the bones". Is found at Proverbs 14:30,
I live my life following bible principles, and I have a healthier heart, and mind. I can control my self when I have reasons to be angry. It keeps my life at peace, and I stay healthy in the long run.

Psychosomatics are people who become sick physically because they believe they are mentally.

The idea behind controlling your health with your mind is to always think positive thoughts and think of how quickly you are healing. When you think thoughts like, "Well, since my spouse is sick then I will become sick." Then your subconcious tells your body to get sick, half of the reason you really do get sick is because you told your mind you are going to.

People who always expect to get sick on monday, will get sick on monday. If you convince your subconcious that you will get sick, then your body allows it to happen more so. On the other hand if you tell your subconcious that you are healing quickly and that you never get sick, then your body will react accordingly.

Another example, one man became 60 yrs of age and he slowed down. Everything he did suddenly became a chore once he turned 60. Doctors analyzed him and told him that by some error he was actually 10 years younger then his birth certificate said! Suddenly everything worked just like it did when he was 50. The reason he was slowing down was because all of his friends did at 60, so he had convinced himself that he needed to!

A good book that mentions this is Being Happy / by Andrew Matthews...

I rarely ever get sick and I was hanging out with my sick brother and i'm doing fine hah

Sincerely,
Ezekiel

You can control your health with your mind if you can first control your mind enough to concentrate on controlling the health issue that is needing to be controlled. Mind over matter.
