14 cardamom pods
4 1/2 cups water
1 1/2 cups milk
3 (3-inch) sticks of cinnamon, broken into pieces
6 whole cloves
2 tablespoons black tea leaves
Granulated sugar to sweeten as desired
Using the flat side of large knife, crush cardamom pods to expose seeds.
In saucepan, bring water, milk, cardamom pods, cinnamon and cloves to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add tea leaves and remove from heat; cover and let steep for 5 minutes. Strain and serve hot. Sweeten with sugar as desired.
Makes 6 servings.

I do not particularly like cardamon so I make my own version with rose buds and cinnamon.
Tea bags (one for each person)
Boiling Water
Rose buds, a stick of cinnamon (or cinnamon sugar)
Sugar and Milk to taset
Make tea as per normal, steep longer for a stronger brew
Add rose buds and cinnamon to the hot brew
Add sugar and milk to taste
Good when chilled too

Chai Tea
Yield: 1 Servings
Ingredients
----------------------------MASALA SPICE MIX------------------------------
1 cinnamon stick - 1.5 inch
3 cardamom pods; up to 4
2 black pepper corns; up to 3
2 cloves; up to 3
1/2 ts ground ginger
------------------------------TO ASSEMBLE---------------------------------
1 c water
1 ts sugar
1 ts darjeeling tea leaves
1/4 ts masala spice mix
1/4 c milk
Instructions
1. Grind cinnamon stick, cardamom, black pepper corns, and cloves to a
powder. Stir in ground ginger.
2. Combine water, sugar, tea and 1/4 teaspoon spice mix in a pan and
bring to a boil. Simmer for one minute.
3. Add milk, bring to a boil and simmer for 3-5 minutes.
4. Strain into a mug or teapot.

ginger tea has got a great kick and probably find in the market. slice up and add boiling water maybe lemon
