It depends on your height, weight, age, and sex. There are several online calculators that ascertain your particular basal metabolic rate, or how many calories YOU burn in a day. Once you find that out, you can use that number to lose weight by creating a calorie deficit by eating x number less than your bmr and/or burning them off through exercise.
Here is a link to a metabolic calculator-
http://www.internetfitness.com/calculators/bmr.htm
3500 calories equals a pound. Consume 3500 more than you need/burn, you will gain one pound. Consume/Burn 3500 less than you need, you will lose one pound. Aim for 500 to 1000 calories less than your bmr to lose 1-2 pounds per week. Any added exercise can only increase the results, so exercise away.

Meanwhile, I will work hard to lose the extra weight I have, for my boyfriend's sake. Haha.
Pls take note the daily consumption of a woman is 2000 calories, but to lose weight you must eat 1200 calories... as for man, the daily consumption is 2500 calories, but to lose weight the man must consume only 1500 calories.

That depends. You should exercise off more calories than you eat to lose weight. Example: If you eat 1000 calories a day, you need to walk off 1000 plus calories to lose weight, depending of the food.

It depends on how much you want to lose and how fast. For traditional diets you need a 3500 calorie deficit for each pound. Cutting back 500 calories a day = 1 lb, 1000 calories = 2 lbs.
Low carb diets work faster.

Losing weight help
lose weight fastWe get weight by eating extra calories and incorrect amount of macronutrients. There are two ways by which we can lose weight.
* Eating less
* Exercising more
You know
1 gram of protein = 4 calories
1 gram of carbohydrates = 4 calories
1 gram of fat = 9 calories
1 pound of fat = 454 gram
So 1 pound of fat = 9*454 = 4086 calories
Note: Our body fat contains around 3500 calories, as 10% of it is water.
So in order to lose a pound of fat (4086) in 2 weeks, we need to decrease calories consumption by 290 per day as 4096/14=290(approx)
15 minute of good exercise will help you in losing around 100 calories. So in order to lose 1 pound of fat in two weeks, we need to exercise for around 45 minutes (290 calories) if we do not want to make any changing in our eating habit. So just take care of the amount of calories in the food you take. The best idea for losing weight will be by cutting down the junk food with exercising. So greatest way to lose weight is a mixture of diet and exercise as exercise builds muscles, and bigger muscles burn more fat.

It depends on so many things.....your age, gender, height and weight (BMI) and level of activity. So, if you are quite tall and big, and do a lot of exercise, you can still lose weight consuming 2500 calories (10000 kj) a day. That sounds heaps, and it is. But if you are little, and light, and you don't exercise, then probably about half that. There's no one simple answer.

It totally depends on your weight and how much you would like to lose. I stick to about 1600-1700 calories a day. I lost 54 lbs...you can see my before and after pic here http://www.healthandstrength.net
I wrote a good article on calories that you can read. It might give some insight as to how you can "save" calories: http://www.healthandstrength.net/qofweek.htm
Good luck!

Less than what you are currently eating, I'd say between 200 and 500 depending on how much you eat and how much you want to lose. Also, increase your exercise to help burn off a few more and build muscle tone. Muscle will burn more calories than fat, even at rest.
