no. It used to be common in religions to believe that after death, you either just ceased to be, or else only continued in some shadowy, mysterious existence, which was not greatly looked forward to.
One of the things that the prophet Muhammad condemned the pre-Islamic Arabs for was their refusal to believe in an afterlife. In the ancient religion of Judaism, there was similarly no clear picture of a heaven or hell. There was "sheol" which was basically just a reference to being buried in the earth.
The ancient Greeks and Romans also had no belief in an afterlife.
The ancient Egyptians used to believe that only the Pharaohs had an afterlife while all others just ceased to be. This did change later in Egyptian religion, but at first, there was no universal afterlife.
This is quite different from religions today, where some people seem to think that the whole point of being religious is to attain some great afterlife. On the contrary, people back then were more religious, because they were focused on this world.

Depends on your definition of afterlife. Do you mean life after death, or heaven and that sort of stuff. Buddhists experience reincarnation, as do some other religions. We all go somewhere when we die, either into the earth, or into ashes. Either way, we eventually return to the earth, and we live on through the life we support in our death, through the nutrients we provide to the other life forms we share the planet with.

Yes there is an after life. This is fact. Religions are just groups of people that believe the same thing, that is all they are. Nothing more then groups of people. All religions that i am aware of believe in some form of afterlife. The bible has many facts written in it but at the same time there is MANY untruths in it also.

all of the major world religions do.... but many tribal religions such as pre-Islamic arabia did not.... however, i don't think this or any others without a belief in an afterlife(as it is very uncommon) still exist today.
***atheism is the absence of religion. it cant really fall under the category of religion b/ there are no beliefs or practices
peace to all.

Chrsitianity obviously yes. (Heaven/Hell)
Roman Catholicism (Heaven/Purgatory/Hell)
Islam yes (heaven/hell)
Judaism yes. (heaven/hell)
Hinduism - Reincarnations or rebirths as different humans/animals/plants or into heaven/hells until moshka (escape from rebirths and absorption into Brahma)
Sikhism - same thing
Buddhism rebirths (humans/animals/plants/gods and into heavens/hells until enlightenment then nirvana (which I don't know the definition of)
Jainism - similar to buddhism
Confucianism - not really defined or explained in confucian texts from what I understand.
Greek and Roman religions - apparently no belief in it
Taoism - not sure, I think there used to be a belief about immortals and people becoming immortal.
Zoroasterianism - Heaven and hell
Shinto - don't think there is a defined explanation about afterlife.
