i would say that 120 is too little and 150 is too much.then again 5'6 could be a lot taller then people think. 130 is great and healthy. sometimes i think I'm fat. I'm 5'2 and i weigh about 105. however I'm also only 13. i think that your fine. everyone is different. I'm sure that most of your weight is muscle and height.
someone who weighs 200 is very unhealthy. you are healthy but could loose some pounds. let me tell you something everyone could loose some pounds. there is no perfect weight. what ever you do stay healthy and when ever you if you do go on a diet or exercise do it because it is healthy for you not because you think your too fat. I'm sure your beautiful. stay happy and healthy!! don't mean to be selfish and rude don't listen to Amy. there is no reason to hurt yourself!!bulimia?? how ever you spell it dont listen to them that is so ridiculious. Think about this people who are too skinny they wish they could have a real womens body!! too look healthy.

A lot of idiots have answered your question, which is unfortunate. Nowhere have you indicated that you make yourself vomit, or that you binge, so you should ignore the silly twit that mentioned bulimia (and didn't even spell it properly.) Why does your weight go up and down? Because of changing exercise routines, crash dieting, or your period etc.? Everyone's weight fluctuates a little. Anyway, whether or not you should lose weight is hardly the issue. It sounds like you're pretty unhappy with your body, and that's not because of the number on your scale.
All I can think of is to start an exercise routine again. It'll release some endorphins, and give you confidence. If some weight falls off, that's just a happy side effect. Good luck.

According to my prenatal Information Guide you are at a normal weight for 5"6. By at the higher side or the normal weight level. Your BMI (body mass index) is 21. My chart says at 5'6 normal weght is 125-150 pounds. Overweight is 150-175. Underweight is anything below 125. I'm almost 5'6 and try to keep my weight around 120. Personally I would try to loss a little weight. It only adds on as you get older.

Know if you need to lose weight

Health specialist use a measure called BMI, short for Body Mass Index. Body mass index (BMI) is a measure of body fat based on height and weight that applies to both adult men and women. This gives a good measure of your total body fat. BMI compares your height and weight. It shows if you are underweight, at a healthy weight, or overweight.

You know how many pounds are there in 1 kg. Do not know let me help you, it is 1 kilogram = 2.20462262 pounds. Check out what your BMI is by using the BMI calculator.
http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/bmi/adult_BMI/english_bmi_calculator/bmi_calculator.htm

BMI Category
Below 18.5 Underweight
Between 18.5 - 24.9 Healthy Weight
Between 25 - 29.9 Overweight
Over 30 Obese

Look at the BMI chart to find out how much weight you need to lose to move from obese to overweight or from overweight into a healthy range. Knowing this can help you set a good weight loss goal.

No matter how you crave you should always try to fight. Try making foods that are healthy and also to stop your craving. You may eat some snacks or sweets to help stop the craving, but think about what your putting in you body. Also try making a schedule for you daily nutrition. It may seem a little too much but it's worth it. But I think your not fat.

Being so tall I would say you are fine. If you're really worried try going for a walk three to four times a week, it'll really make a difference.
Starrwood, are you trying to hand out eating disorders? I'm 5'3'' and 123 and everyone says how tiny I am! For her height 145 is perfectly acceptable. Men like women with some meat on their bones, not anorexic brittany spears.

Honestly, yes. That's a little big. I'm not trying to sound mean, but just being honest. Ultimately, if you've tried diets and everything else, it might help to see a weight counselor, but if you haven't I'd suggest you go out of your way to make a skinny friend. It sounds crazy, I know, but being in the presense of someone skinny makes you feel fat and makes you feel like eating less. My skinny friends help me keep trim. It's not like I went out of my way to make friends with them just because I was skinny, but found that my weight dropped after I had been hanging around them for a few weeks. Other than that, though, excersize, eat less, don't hide in big clothes, etc. Good luck.

This depends on how happy you are with your body not what your weight actually is. Why not try a naturopath he put me on chrome supplements for my cravings and this really helped, i was also hungry all the time and now I am not.

Yeah, you just need to lose a little. Don't be a stick. Just get below 140, and you'll be fine.
