Solomon asked for wisdom from the Lord and God gave it to him. College is good also to teach you information but only God can give you wisdom which cannot be taught in school. I agree everyone should have a Bible to guide them in life. I read mine everyday.

King Solomon asked the Lord for wisdom and through the granting of wisdom he also became very wealthy. The Lord offers to all his children the gift of wisdom as he said if any man desires it he will give it liberally. I agree with you entirely as there would be millions in the world who have a degree in something and for a variety of reasons seemingly can't make it in the world and I have worked alongside some of them and it became apparent that whilst they may have succeeded in academics, many can't apply themselves in practical terms. There is no substitute for wisdom!

King Solomon's obeisance to the Lord resulted in the Lord giving him more than just wisdom that he had asked for, but great wealth also.
