Why don't you pray to God (the father) exclusively? As he is the Creator?

God is the Father , Son and The Holy Spirit and a Christian prays in the name of Jesus

A lot of religions do pray to God exclusively. Although I am an agnostic (still in the closet) I go to a church where they pray to God exclusively. I, however, have lost faith in prayers.

Because Jesus said whatever we ask in His name, The Father would answer. Jesus is The Way to God. No one comes to The Father except through Him.

If you're asking why do we pray to Jesus, God and Jesus are one. Or if you are talking about how Catholics *cough cough* pray to saints and such, then i agree with you, that's idolatry, and it's against the very first commandment. We should only pray to God/Jesus, because He's the one we are supposed to worship.

Jesus became the bridge between God and man to reconcile us from the fall of Garden of Eden. Jesus said Himself " no man can come to the Father except through me"
