With my many chronic illnesses, probably at once a month. So at least 12x a year. But my pharmacy asks me every time I fill a prescription new or old, whether I have any questions. And I go to a smaller pharmacy, so the pharmacist is always available for questions.

Poop is more of a job for the cna's. Nursing is a better choice as far as flexibily. Pay is good with both. I know am ex-pharmacist who teaches now bc he said pharmacists get yelled at... A LOT! Nursing is more rewarding< and you can do so many different fields of nursing, if there are things that nother you, that's not a problem. Good luck, i say nurse. However, Sometimes nurses have to do what needs to be done if there is a shortage of other staffing. You have to keep the patient clean and safe. You can't just ignore problems if there is no CNA or STNA around to do the dirty work. Sometimes you might have to give enemas, take stool samples for testing or do rectal stimulation for aleviating constipation (when ordered by a doctor). You will often have to insert catheters to collect urine, collect urine samples for testing, etc also. Yes, you might have to bathe people or help bathe them when staffing is low and baths are scheduled to be done. CRNA...anesthestist? You have to have a master's degree for that after getting your bachelor degree in RN. Not sure how many jobs out there, since there are anesthesiologists out there already. Probably less pay than an anesthesiologist, with the same amount of liability (possibility of being sued is fairly high for mistakes and the malpractice insurance can be costly for anesthetists of any kind). Pharmacists have to take a lot of chemistry and pharmacology and math and anatomy/physiology. Esp. the physiology, organic chemistry and pharmacology are not easy....unless you are a genius more or less.

I quite often will go to a pharmacist before a Doctor. I've found that I'll pay the Doctor $50 just to be sent to the chemist to get a medicine that I didn't even need a script for! I'd say, for my whole family, maybe 5 to 15 times a year.

my mother is pretty sick and has to pick up her pescrip once a month. that is legally the most often you can see a pharmacist. to a point, like, my mother goes to pick up her pecrip one the last day of the month and has enough to last the whole month, but if in the middle she gets a new pescrip then she can go pick it up, but she will be given enough to get her caught up with the rest and then will be on the same schedual to pick up again,

That depends entirely on the number of prescriptions a person is given.
