Everyone says look around you and you will see the work of God. However, how many people can actually show proof that God exist? Can someone pray and ask God to perform a miracle now and it will happen. Prove to me that God exist?

Once upon a time, most humans were pagans. They were absolutely certain of their beliefs... until they changed.

Later, millions of people worshiped the sun. They were absolutely certain of their beliefs... until they changed.

Later still, humans became polytheists. They were absolutely certain of their beliefs... until they changed.

Modern humans are now mostly monotheists, but are split into a few opposing camps, each of which is absolutely certain of their beliefs.

When large numbers of people believe the same thing, it doesn't make them right. It just confirms the fact that people tend to go along with whatever the majority believes, until the majority changes its mind.

I believe that, yes, there is proof. I have seen things happen that I would not have believed had I not been there. I have had several miracles in my own life after simply calling on the name of Jesus. For instance, I went to the doctor after becoming ill. We had no idea what it could be. They did a blood test and I had been diagnosed w/ Mono (the kissing disease[which has no cure btw]). But, while the first test came in 100% positive, they sent the bloodwork in for a final test. They were absolutely sure I had the disease (for the lack of a good immune system. I'm not the type to go kiss someone I don't know). To the doctor's amazement, the second test came back completely negative. They never figured out what happened. But I think it was because of something I call God. If you'd like to hear the other many miracles, look me up... And if u don't believe it, then... well, that's ur choice. Even Albert Einstein believed that there was a God.

Forget everything you know about Islam and world religions, ok? I can prove to you that God exists in one qur'anic verse:

“The Byzantines have been defeated IN THE LOWEST PART OF THE EARTH. They will reverse their defeat with a victory in a few years’ time – God is in command, first and last.” 30:2-5

In the year 615 CE, the Roman army was defeated by the Persians. Regarding this event, God revealed in the Qur’an the verse mentioned above. The words of God proved to be true as the Persians were defeated at the battle of Issus, seven years later in 622 CE. There is no possible way that Muhammad PBUH could have known – if he wrote the Qur’an – that the Romans would be victorious. One could say he just guessed or that the Qur'an was altered after the Persians were defeated - as would be expected from non-Muslims. However, how was he able to know that the ‘lowest land’, at which the battle was fought, was literally that? The battle in 615 CE was fought on the shores of the Dead Sea, the lowest point below sea level on earth at 1,300 feet.

Did he explore the entire earth, or did he have hidden satellites that we do not know of? If you were really to think about what I have written, you would stop right there and realize that this 1400 year old statement could not have been known by anyone except God. Could you just please write something to provide me with a way of refuting this unmistakable proof or to at least tell me what you think (plz be respectful if you choose to do so)?

You will see that God did indeed send miracles. It's just that people refuse to acknowledge them

Peace be with you

If you are an adult and you have looked around you with an open mind and have not seen proof that there is a God, I could not prove it to you with any logic, neither could I prove it to you if I said I had seen a miracle, and I really don't think I could prove it to you if I prayed and a miracle happened right in front of you right now. You would probably say there was some coincidence, or osme psychological reason for it. If you were really stuck you would say an E.T. did it.

1 Kings 19:9-13 NIV
9 There he went into a cave and spent the night. And the word of the LORD came to him: "What are you doing here, Elijah?"
10 He replied, "I have been very zealous for the LORD God Almighty. The Israelites have rejected your covenant, broken down your altars, and put your prophets to death with the sword. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me too."

11 The LORD said, "Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the LORD, for the LORD is about to pass by."
Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind. After the wind there was an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake. 12 After the earthquake came a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire. And after the fire came a gentle whisper. 13 When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave.
Then a voice said to him, "What are you doing here, Elijah?"...

Elijah experienced some awesome...well, experiences! Here he was, on Mt. Sinai, the same mountain that Moses was on when he met with God. It is quite possible that the "cave" (vs. 9) was even the same cleft that Moses was in! But Elijah was discouraged. He was out in the desert, and people wanted to kill him. Not a fun situation. However, God shows him something. He puts Elijah through a huge wind, one that shattered the rocks of the mountain. Yet, the Lord was not in that wind. After that, the Elijah went through a huge earthquake; but the Lord was not in the eartquake. Then there was a fire! Yet the Lord was not in the fire. At the last, there was a still, small voice; the NIV describes it as a gentle whisper. What's the point of all this?
Sometimes, we want to see God do great works; and sometimes He does. But so often, we get caught up in these huge miracles. We fail to realize that God also works in ways that are perhaps unknown to us, ways that, really, don't seem like a method God would use. However, in reality, God doesn't always use these out-of-this-world miracles. In fact, He often uses the little things; the still, small, voices. The things that, in reality, we may not pay too much attention to. There's a God. If you can study, say, Biology, and fully grasp it, and tell me that it all just...happened, then...wow. Do you realize exactly what is going on inside your body? How much is happening? And going outside the body into the world, even there there is so much happing. You can't come up with a scientific formula to prove God. You can't prove, in scientific terms, that there is a God who loves you. It's faith; but not blind faith. It's faith in Jesus Christ, it's admitting with our mouths that Jesus is Lord, and believing in our hearts that God rose Him from the dead. God is real, but so often we fail to listen to the still, small voice. God bless!

The Lord says that " the just shall live by faith" So He no longer does these outward miracles like you see in the Old Testament but He certainly is still preforming miracles in peoples lives.. My husband was running out of money with his new company. He did not receive one phone call for about a month. Our account drastically diminished. We would pray for the Lord to help us every day. To be honest I was getting very discouraged because we couldn't do any more to get customers. My husband lost 2 of his best customers and we were desperate. I gave up trying to get customers because nothing was working. I prayed and gave the Lord our business I told Him the well was drying up. We were having the worst year in the 20 years of marriage financially. But the Lord is faithful !!!! September was when we were at our lowest. October my husband's phone started to ring ( which is unusual for seasonal work to pick up in October) Not only has he been flooded with work but he landed 3 of the largest profit jobs he has ever had !!! This year looks like it's might very well turn out to be the best profit year we have ever had !! Trust me , I can go on and on about how faithful God is to me. I'm just giving you one small example.

No one can prove it. People will rehash the same tired arguments. The ultimate question is that of original cause. Even if you accept the scientific origin of the universe, there is still no answer to why the Big Bang occured.

Perhaps it is a natural occurence outside of our perception or perhaps there is an "Unmoved Mover" or a loving God who crafts and controls the universe carefully.

You cannot prove God, but neither has anyone disproven its existence.

I cannot prove to you that God exists. But i cannot prove to you that God doesn't exist either.. I am stuck here.. My uncle is christian, my father once asked him what he would do if he devoted his whole life to God, but in the end God doesn't exist? My uncles answered..."God may not exist, but at least i know i'm living what i believe in, and i am a better person for it." I am kind of on the otherside. I have no proof that God exists, but i have no proof that he doesn't. I don't really know what to believe. But if there is no proof that he doesn't exist, i say go with what you believe and think is right.

1) Do you have a spirit?

2) Is logic and evidence all that you need, and all that you require to live?

If the answer to 1) is "no", and the answer to 2) is "yes", then you don't need to seek out God.

If you want proof, the proof is in your personal conviction.

If you believe that the world is a very fallen place.

If you believe that God has given the world to man, who by nature is fallen and responsible for the ills that affect himself.

And you need someone bigger than man to influence him.

Then maybe you will acknowledge God.

IF NOT,

I'm sure you think you can manage on your own without any God. Thank you very much.

If thats the case, just treat it that God is something for others, and see how you go...

Good luck mate.

An evil and adulterous generation asks for a sign; and there fore no sign shall be given, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. For as Jonas was 3 days and 3 nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be 3 days and 3 nights in the heart of the earth.
