I really don't know, what is armpit hair for?

Same reason men have nipples (religious answer), A more scientific answer would be we evolved from within the primate family. If you notice monkeys / other apes their privates are concealed and come out for copulation or waste purposes. As humans evolved we lost most body hair apart from cover or privates. Ensures warmness.

1) Its kinda like a hunting blind......2) Eve wore a fig leaf to cover her up. You are now covered by the pubic hair........3) Some guys might even use it on the forehead, so it would be protection from the sun........................lol

public hair is on our body as a form of protection for our skin (as weird and as gross as that may seem)
