Try a little Baking soda in water, lukewarm. just swallow a little at a time. Take advil for the pain and put warm compresses on the outside of your throat. You may need to buy a bottle of chloraseptic. It numbs the throat. i had surgery and that is what they had me use. It works. good luck,

Your throat and mouth heal remarkably fast compared to any other part of your body. In a few days time it should have improved greatly. If the pain is too much then there may be something else going on such as an infection. Wouldn't hurt to get it checked out.

Aloe vera is good for burns and you can find the aloe vera juice in the pharmacy practically anywhere or ask the pharmacist what they would recommend. Also red bell pepper is supposed to be good for sore throats it might help with burns too. Make sure to drink water to keep hydrated. It may hurt but that might be why its not healing fast.
